Honestly, I don't see what the whole big deal of it is. He just stated he's coming back for just one more year. Who cares? The team is rebuilding anyway so why not try to get SOMETHING for him.

 

I don't know my green brother. I may be in the minority here, but I'd rather see JT play here for one more season and then retire, than get a 4th or 5th rounder for him.

 

Im wit ya on that to:

o Retire a Fin
o Show Jake some DE Tricks
o Show Merling/Langford some tricks
o Help us be competitive

 

I hope he stays here, plays hard, then retires as a Dolphin. I have a lot of respect for the man. IMO his press conference showed a straight forward, honest and sincere man.

 

what a coincidence. JT kills his trade value by saying he is playing one more year and now things are on the mend. LOL

best case scenario:

JT starts the season with us, a team loses a DE to injury, we trade JT for a 3rd
