Sparano on Miami Heat: "This is football season right now."
I think it's great he knows every small detail and stat though. Thats one of his best qualities as a coach. He's so passionate about the team that he literally evaluates the team from every angle and detail.
That's great. Now if he can just learn that you don't need to call timeout after an interception (@ Bills game), he'll be on his way to coaching immortality :shifty:.
Every year the reporters go batsheeit over this practice or that practice. For obvious reasons, the coaches want to see Jerry, Thomas, and Incognito. They already know what Garner can do at LG, so no need to spend their limited number of practice snaps on him. This time last year, Omar, Armando & co. were telling us about how Shawn Murphy and his newly constructed body were getting the first team reps. How'd that work out?
I was thinking earlier about it today and was going to put it back up but then I had to do, haha. It'll be up before the season starts, brother. :knucks:
Hope you come around more, if you have the time. The site is a better place with your posts.
I'm largely seasonal.
I'm such a huge soccer guy that when the NFL is off-season, I'm over on BigSoccer & going to all the Sounder matches up here.
Then when their season is over I'm back here
Does anyone think we could see a lineup of Jerry at RG and Incognito at left guard?
Does Incognito have prior experience at LG?
If Jerry is much more comfortable at RG than LG, maybe this is our best lineup?
Exactly.
I was trying to explain this very thing last night but some are just way too damn dense to get it. They think because someone is running with a certain group at a certain spot on the first day of camp that it is somehow etched in stone. These camp reports don't mean a whole lot of anything at the moment.
Slick's being serious. Haynesworth took a restroom break between shuttles. Shanahan used that as an excuse to declare Haynesworth had failed his conditioning test.
As far as the beat writers go... they do take things too seriously, while at the same time telling us not to take things too seriously.
