There is a double standard....if a male teacher does this to a girl's team he ends doing a lotta time in jail, but these women teachers who do this to young guys get a slap on the wrist, a few hours of community service, and a big offer to pose in Playboy (if they look like that one teacher in Tampa).

 

Definitely agree. Women who are "sexual predators" hardly get as severe punishment as men of the same ilk.

 

True but if a woman gets around a lot she's a tramp whereas if a man does it he's a player (or whatever the devil you kids are calling yourselves these days).

So the double standards tend to equal each other out in a weird way.

That or the fact that when most people think of say a 35 year old guy after a 17 year old girl most people think of that girl as sweet and innocent with a dirty old man wanting her. On the other hand if a 35 year old woman is after a 17 year old boy its not as bad because 17 year old boys have raging hormones and are begging for it anyway.

Its the thought behind teen girls are more innocent than boys and that men are just the more sexually aggressive sex. So because of these reasons the double standard gets setup. Whether its fact or not.
