Dolphins coach Tony Sparano believes Ted Ginn can be a true No. 1 receiver.

"I see a guy that can run, can catch pretty well, and has become a lot better from a route discipline standpoint," Sparano said. Ginn is locked in as a starter, most likely opposite Ernest Wilford. Derek Hagan, Tab Perry, and David Kircus figure to contend for the third receiver role this summer.

He better like him, Ginn is our best hope for a #1 WR on this team.

Interesting there's no mention of Camarillo.

    Over There.
I think Willford and Ginn will compliment each other nicely.

I'd like to see a healthy Tab Perry win that 3rd starting WR spot.

To quote the great Yoda: "No... there is another."

I have the feeling we'll see the Phins grab a certain Gators WR in the 2nd. The buzz is... or at least was... that the Phins were very high on him.

Hmm..if we step back and look objectively at who we have as weapons on offense, we could be seeing the nucleus of a very good unit forming.

Ginn, Brown, Willford, LBook, Satele, Carey, Smiley.

Add in my "Son" Derek Hagan, who will see the field..Wilford is injury prone...and we could have a fine unit.

The thing about Ginn is not only is he fast, he hangs onto the ball, he can get deep even on double coverage if our Qb can get him the ball <cough, cough>.

Bro, tell your son he's a terrific route runner, has excellent field vision, makes crisp cuts and if he doesn't stop catching balls with his body you're going to spank him to kingdom come. Maybe that does the trick. I'm holding you responsible :tongue2:

We put a belt around his arms this offseason, he has to do everything with his hands now, and he listened once we threatened to take away the keys to the Porsche..

I agree that we've got a good receiver with Ginn, and a good compliment with Wilford. I think we can use Booker in the passing game (out of slot would be perfect), but I'd still like us to target a decent TE at some point during the upcoming draft. I think Ginn is capable of becoming a #1, but it's important to give Beck some kind of safety valve as well.

We need another WR on this team and hopefully we can draft a good one. Devin Thomas falling to the 2 would be wonderful. I would like James Hardy too. I am not high on Caldwell
