Not exactly Phins related, but a big, big story... Mods feel free to move to Other NFL if you like, figured I'd put it here first so everyone see's and can chime in.

Sounds kind of like the Pats have been found guilty...

Honestly he should... He won't but he should be suspended if that is their conclusion. However I feel the NFL will just sweep it under the rug.. Wish this was like the College football where when found guilty you are not allowed the program is penalized by not being able to play in the postseason for X years as punishment...

It starts with their 1st and 2nd next year and a 5M dollar fine, remember this is the SECOND TIME they got caught.....

And honestly don't tell me that BB didn't know....I have said it all along this has been their practice for many games now, if fact it is so common place that they don't even discuss it anymore, it is just known, "do it"....

If your wife for 15 years made you chicken parm without mozzarella cheese but instead American (nobody does that hahahah) you think in year 16 or 17 she is going to all a sudden ask you if you want mozzarella on your chicken parm? No she doesn't this is the way you want your dish, it goes without saying.....

Insert footballs into the above statement and think on it....

I guess Kraft has to try and protect his franchise, but his statement seems very lawyer like. Whatever the punishment, we will all inevitably be disappointed.

I'm glad that the official report at least has the appearance of being unbiased. I expect the league to do little or nothing though. A fine maybe.

The league won't do anything. According to what I've read of the Wells report (excepts only), there's no indisputable evidence. Robert Kraft made this point as well. In addition, he and Goodell are buddies, so if the scale is even or close to, that tips it in NE's favor.

One thing I found interesting though, is the Colts had 4 balls under PSI regulation...

Well at least it's not being completely swept under the rug. Now let's see what Goodell does to see if I gain any small amount of respect.

I doubt he takes it easy on them. As much of a Patriot fan he is hes not going to be so lenient especially with how everything had been the past year and a half. He only has one way to handle tough situations and thats a death penalty punishment.

I think they'll use this report to say "see we keep our house in order", then do very little discipline wise, even though this is the second time the patriots under bb and brady have been caught cheating.

This report is devastating to the Patriots, even if Goodell goes easy on them.

They absolved Belichick, which means there won't be a significant punishment IMO.

I don't think the punishment will be anything particularly noteworthy, but it pretty much confirms that they cheated. I think that's enough for me. Cheaters.

Brady's going to get disciplined, I think it more likely than not. There is plenty in that report to allow for a disciplinary action. The question will be the magnitude of the punishment.

I think there is a good possibility Brady gets some game suspensions.

Brady needs to be suspended for a year. He (understandably) refused to cooperate with the investigation and lied during his press conference. In light of the multiple punishments doled out for BountyGate, at a minimum, Brady needs to sit for a year.

When the Rules were previously posted, this was not the standard required to find a violation or punish.

I think when its 3rd most powerful person has knowledge, that is sufficient to punish an organization.

I'm calling a 6 game suspension for Brady and Patriots skate. That would make me happy, all things considered. Wouldn't be surprised if he only gets 4, but seems like 6 is the new 4.
