All I can say is "hell yes!" that was great to see again. Man we need to find ways to give him the ball with a bit of space.
must have honestly watched both kick returns over 50 times since sunday. and i saw it live. cant stop.. Also, ginna may have singlehandedly put himself in the pro bowl after this game. it doesn't take much for a KR to get in and everyone and their mother in america has seen these two plays.
those two were great runs but I cant help but get the feeling that hes going to get hit this Sunday against the pats and cause a fumble which will throw him right back under the bus. I HOPE i am COMPLETELY wrong though and he gets another two lol
Joshua Cribbs would like to have a word with you. Of course I would like to see Ginn bring some more back for TD's.
I'm ready........don't think you will see it though. Now that Ginn has showed he can run fast they simply won't kick it to him directly......if they do he will be spotted and tracked and won't get another for a while. Not to be negative but he did have almost 200 returns prior to that and had only 1 return for a TD. Averaged 22 yrds on kickoffs and 9 yrds on punts which wasn't good enough for "The Regime".......remember they pulled him. Since he was failing at receiver they had no where else to put him and he ended up back on special teams......genius.....NO.......circumstances........yes Go Phins!!!!!!
It was nice to see him show some elusiveness. The quick move on Larry Izzo and the one right after that were nice.
A bit of an unfair number since he had THREE returns for TD's that were called back due to holding penalties either on the other side of the field or BEHIND HIM (as if he can be ran down).
Yes sir. It was also good to see the blocking our guys finally showed. You know, at first we all thought that second return was all Ginn, especially when he was juking there in traffic. But the more I watch that return, the more I see how our boys seriously took care of business. We've already talked about Chris Clemons at length, but Ginn broke out of that quagmire with lots of help. Yeah, Larry Izzo went down grabbing a whole lot of air, but he was up in a flash and could have gotten Ginn from behind rather easily at that point. BUT, not if Cam Wake had anything to say about it, as he stood Izzo up in his tracks. Then Erik Walden and Lex Hilliard just buried two Jet defenders and Ginn was off to the races. All we've ever wanted to see with Ginn on returns, was some good, or even decent blocking to see what he could do. If that was truly an epiphany for our ST guys, then we will AT LEAST see some much better starting field position. Or maybe even more.
I think he would have to have some amazing returns again this week or next to beat out Cribbs for the pro-bowl. It would be nice, but most people have a short memory span. They will remember the last name to do something. If Teddy runs one back again, he'll get in because all the news will be talking about him.
