I'm flying down to Chattanooga, TN for work from Sept 2 (Tuesday) through Sept 5 (friday). I will be staying in Cleveland, TN and didn't know if any of you guys lived around there, or knew anything to do in the area. I'm not sure if I will have a car available to me, so keep that in mind, lol.
Sking29 lives in Tennessee so he could probably tell you something. Also, I remember Devilfin saying he's going to UT so he probably knows something about Tennessee.
Ha Although I'm not sure if your joking but dollywood is a long way from Cleveland which he should consider. Clever. Anyway Stitches to be honest I am knowledgeable about the Knoxville area but come on up this way and I'm sure you'll kind find something to do. However I know that in Athens, TN which is close to Cleveland there is the Mayfield ice cream home plant which you can take a tour of and get free ice cream. However it was 10 years ago when I last went. If your around the Knoxville area drop me a line. Oh also forgot check out Rock City and Ruby Falls (which is an awesome underground waterfall). In case you can't tell TN isn't that interesting of a place.
Your actually going to be really close to my old stomping grounds. Mayfield Plant is still there. I used to live in Athens and its not that big of a deal. You should try going to Lookout Mountain. Pigeon Forge should be a must. Thats where Dollywood is and there are plenty of activities. Its about 1 hr 45 min from Cleveland. Call me if you need any help
Yes Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, and Rock City are musts but Pigeon Forge is a long drive for a business trip but if he wants to do it its a good idea. However it would kind of suck if he doesn't have his fiance or anyone with him. I'll open up my PM as well in case Stitches wants to contact someone else.

Yes, next week. I get in at like 11am on tuesday, and leave 2pm on friday. Wed or thur are probably the better days for me, just because I don't know what all we will be doing on tuesday. Plus that way we could make more concrete plans once I get stuff figured out.
Well I was hoping I was wrong on those dates but with classes/work there is no way I can do it. Why couldn't you have came this Saturday through Monday...you know the weekend. So there is no way you'll be close to the Knoxville area?

You are correct sir. I'm from the west side though, Memphis. I lived in Knoxville for a while but other than that I don't know anything about east TN. I'd come and visit/drive you around Stitches but I've got class. And I don't know anyone who lives around Cleveland. Sorry.
Finally someone that shares my passion. This could come in handy for hitting the bar scene. BTW are you back in Knoxville for grad school (I'm inferring not from your post).
Oh yeah, I forgot to update you. No, I stayed in Memphis. UT didn't accept me until last Monday. Since classes started last Wednesday that would have given me a day to drive up there, find a place to live, and get my classes in order. And I would have had to do that without any financial aid because that would have taken probably at least until the end of the week to process. So I decided to stay home and go to school.
