Texans/Ravens game moved to Monday

BALTIMORE AT HOUSTON GAME RESCHEDULED
FOR MONDAY NIGHT DUE TO APPROACHING HURRICANE IKE
Due to the importance of allowing the Houston area to focus on its recovery from the expected arrival of Hurricane Ike on Friday, the Houston Texans' home game Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens has been re-scheduled for Monday night at Reliant Stadium at 7:30 PM Houston time (8:30 PM ET). The game originally was scheduled to be played on Sunday, September 14 at 3:15 PM Houston Time (4:15 PM ET).
The Texans-Ravens Monday night game will be televised on local CBS stations in the primary and secondary markets of the Texans (Houston, Beaumont-Port Arthur, and Bryan, Texas) and the Ravens (Baltimore; Washington, DC; Salisbury, MD; and Harrisburg, PA).

Damn, I was hoping it would be televised.

The Texans seem to have some of the pieces to have a good team. They went .500 last year but started off very bad with the Steelers this year. The Steelers offensive line was struggling coming into the game and I thought the Texans could take advantage of that. I'm not sure what to think of them this year. One key thing is the Quarterback situation. The team is 4-1 with Rosenfels starting. With Schaub,the team isn't very good when he starts, 4-8 overall. However, the numbers produced by the two Quarterbacks are very similar and they have poor records on the road. Rosenfels is 1-4 while Schaub is 1-7. Somethings got to give.

Most of the country will only get the Dallas/Philadelphia game. It will be just like the Kansas City/Miami game a couple of years ago when it was moved to Friday.

This is not like the KC/Miami game a fews ago where it was played on Friday then shown on the ticket on Sunday.

Now I'm going to have to flip back and forth between the 2 games. So far, this is the ONLY advantage to living in Baltimore.
