I think that's about it for the training camp thread, what with the last session moved indoors. There likely won't be anymore updates so that's one more year done! So what do you think about this year's training camp (aside from the crappy injuries)? Good surprises? Disappointments? It's hard to gauge what all of this means, but I think Julias Thomas was my main disappointment. Unless Gase intentionally kept it low key for him during camp. I'm thinking Fasano might prove to be the better weapon at TE this year. Jordan Philips would also be a disappointment but I didn't really have any hopes or fears for him either way. Glad to see Godchaux stepped up. In fact, I think the biggest pluses this year were the rookies - McMillan, Harris, Godchaux, not to mention last year's rookies, Grant and Morgan. Maxwell seemed to have a reasonable camp too, so that's good news. Of course, this is all based on Tweets and limited media coverage, and training camp is, well, training camp. But in general, I think there's a lot of promise in some of these youngsters. Let's see if Gase and co can put it all together!
