well I was thinking about trying to keep human casualties to a minimum, and you know, focus on the hornets/bees...but whatever floats your boat.

 

i don't think they want you to be alive. or anything else for that matter.

 

you must know me pretty well, i go outside around my house a couple times a year with my shotgun killing bees, ants, and spiders.

 

Would a lighter and an aerosol can do the trick?

You've got a point. A couple years ago when I was knocking down a wasp nest I fell backwards and broke my elbow on the pavement (true story).

Was looking for a lightweight defensive system. Something that will still allow me to ge through the security checkpoints at the office. The gate guards don't take kindly to folks walking through with flamethrowers.

 

Man that was some crazy ****! How about the friggin ant gloves?

No ****. Ever since I saw that hornet on a documentary a couple years ago I have nightmares about it.

Nice find and read, while that being said I won't be traveling to Japan, Africa or South America any time soon. Those bugs are crazy.

I'm sure those Killer Bees in the states are just as bad.
Alligators in FL, Wolves and Bears up north.
Tornados in the middle states. Earthquakes on the left coast.
Pick your poison. Mother Nature will find a way to get you if she wants you.

 

I grew up in Florida, where half the creatures want to kill you and the other half steal your **** while you worry about the first half.

But those damn hornets...that's just ****ed up.

It's one of those species that you have to wonder what was going through God's mind; it doesn't participate in the food chain except to murder entire colonies of useful insects, simply to propagate themselves.
