"Sad news to end the week: Everyone's favorite crazy gimmick offense, the "All-11," was effectively declared illegal today by the far-reaching National Federation of State High School Associations, which closed the "scrimmage kick" loophole the A-11 exploited for its existence. A moment, please, for innovation." I don't have feelings either way. They should get props for innovation but understand wanting to shut it down. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footba...e-future-is-dead-R-I-P-A-11-?urn=ncaaf,141441
This is a country where we focus and praise individual accomplishment. So this comes as no surprise, the A-11 offense gave all 11 players the opportunity to make a play, stressing teamwork, and its runs contrary to what high school sports are about now in days: finding the next star player and give them all the attention to help boost the school's recognition.
