She came through the surgery fine. She has to go into the Drs. office each day for check-ups. They said it was already looking good. She's so anxious to get back to work. She travels all over the U.S. for AFLAC and is bored to death right now. LOL Just keep her in your prayers for the healing process and for her spiritual healing also. Luv, Deb
I just wanted to share a single from Dolfan87's band's new album: The band is "Out of Ruin" from the album "What I Can't See" http://youtube.com/watch?v=7VdIsMUS11c The album is available on iTunes and many other outlets.
God Bless Deb. I'm sorry I missed this thread. You take care and I will be praying for her. Luv ya Mary
Thanks every one. Right now, the Dr. says the healing looks good. I think he said granulizing. She's doing well and is up and about & hoping to be back at work in two weeks. Just keep praying the healing keeps on track this time. Luv, DD
A couple of Vids, very Euroish because I could not find a June Carter Cash version of "On the Far banks of Jordan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEh2N5hmPVM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JpJjsHgYHA&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReBFlOtAct8 Johnny Cash, introspective, Hurt is a nice cover indeed, what a soul that man had! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO9dbmJ_2zU
I just got back and am trying to catch up. Deb, can you give us an update on your daughter and Rev how is your wife's grandpa doing? Any other prayer request updates?
Keith - can you send out a prayer for hubby? He's having a tooth extracted today but he's being put under anesthesia to do it and that always scares me. I've heard some nightmare stories about being under anesthesia. Thanks.
My wife's grandpa is doing well, Pastor. He is recovering well from the surgery at my in-laws' house. I can't say the same for mother-in-law. He is going to the cardiologist next week and we should know more, then. Thanks for asking and for the prayers.
You indeed have my prayers. I had hoped to just drop in fast and get on to the rest of my busy day, but have been pleasantly waylaid in catching up here. The rligion and spiritual;ity board always takes a lot of time especially for a slow typist such as me. I have come to add many of the concerns here to my personal prayers. I am beginning to view my monitor console as an extension of my personal "chapel"!
She's doing good. Their hoping she'll be able to get back to work in a couple of weeks. Thanks for your concern and prayers.
Some praise music and a prayer: Breathe: Michael W. Smith http://youtube.com/watch?v=XKHAfKsKbRw Psalm 139 May we come to realize just how much He loves us and knows us. Remember if we ever think that we are not precious to Him, look at verse 13. Someone who knits, takes their time. We are so very important to Him. GB
If you liked any of the Stryper music, here is a link to there music on Amazon. My personal favorites are "Soldiers under Command" and "To hell with the devil" http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_m?url=search-alias=popular&field-keywords=Stryper
One of my all time favorite contemporary christian musicians Raul. Thank you. BTW - Chris came through the surgery fine, although his face looks funny with all that gauze packed in there. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.
We went to Atlanta to see them years ago. That lead singer can do some more magic on the Battle Hymn of the Republic. He really got me on that.
She's coming up today for her nieces birthday. I love hanging out with her. So far, so good on the healing just keep her in your prayers. Luv, DD
I know Pastor Keith rarely ventures into a lot of areas of the forum, but this was in the Lounge. Link Let's add this to our list, please.
You are correct, luxury box, club level (if I have time), and now here. I have already added this and will send a pm to the King. Thanks for the catch.
I read that to, but I didn't know how to post it over here. You guys are so good to always think of others. Thanks for letting me be a part of it. DD

Oh my gosh - that's horrible. How devastated he must be. I love his music - one of my favorite artists.
I was just coming in here to post this. A good friend called me from Nashville last night and told me this. Steven is TRULY one of the great guys in the industry. Pray hard for that family. Gram
I heard about this and my wife and I nearly collapsed. How tragic! This just breaks my heart into pieces. But she is in a better place, and this family will get through this because of their faith. All our prayers going out to them in this time of tragedy.
That is very true but having been a family member who has lost a loved one, NEVER say that to a family who has just suffered a loss. They will want and need to hear it in six months but right now.............................that was among the least helpful things people said to me.
