Good News The Dolphin Rodeo is up and running. Got the part Mon. My husband and I put it on today. It was the mount for the altenator and the serpentine belt broke. So, pray it stays ok. It still squeals some, but we can't find out if it's one of the pulleys or what. It's always had a small squeal, so hopefully it's fine. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. God Bless all of you!
Thanks dolphindebby and Stitches for making up on the thread where you guys were arguing about oldtimers/newtimers. I like it when people who get offended momentarily offer peace, apologies, and - when necessary - forgiveness. You guys did that. The rest of us can/should take a lesson. (Not to say that lots of others don't do it, but it's always nice when people do.)
I think there's some in either the picture thread or in the vip lounge. I really can't remember. It is is the club lounge. The one with the rodeo is under "Here they are, Maybe" with my grandgirls and one of me with them. Ignore me, just look at the girls.
Stitches is a good guy. We just got our wires crossed. Most every one on here is nice and very easy to get along with. I just don't like fighting, it never accomplishes any thing. I love a good debate tho'. Thanks for the post for me and stitches both.
Aileen and I will be leading a marriage retreat this weekend at our church in Miami with 9 other couples. Please pray for the eight couples participating in this retreat that the Lord may bring them closer to Him and each other. Please pray for me as I lead the music ministry with my guitar that I don't turn into Alfalfa from the Little Rascals and pray for my wife who is in charge of Intercession for this retreat. Thanks everyone. GB!
I will send this message on to Father Theo who will be doing evening prayers tonight at church. I just called him and asked him to do it.
The remembrance of 9/11 has been posted in several places in this site but I thought I would post my thoughts here. This was found on a concentration camp wall during World War II Prayers and tears are still being shared with these families. GB Raul
http://washblade.com/2008...9592&CFTOKEN=44915165 Here is Ray Boltz singing his most famous song, Thank You at one of the Gaither Homecoming Specials [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzhFyNp3Ja8]YouTube - "Thank You" By Ray Boltz[/ame] What courage this man has to finally come out and be himself. I too have lived with this burden until I was 33. Since then being liberated with the knowledge that God made me who I am, and I am a Gay Christian, and He accepts me for who I am, no matter what others who profess to be Christians want to think or say. Praise the Lord and His blood that cleanses me, and I say Thank You Lord and Thank You Ray Boltz for this glorious song of Praise.
I love that song. We played it for our pastor on pastor appreciation day at the church. It's very moving.
Here is my favorite Ray Boltz song......The Altar [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpOhdC131xk]YouTube - "The Altar" By Ray Boltz[/ame]
Hello everyone, Let me introduce myself. I am new to this site, and I am thrill to see a Christian thread, trust me there are dolphin message boards and they make their hatred for Christianity known, so this is very refreshing indeed. I am an ordained Christian minister and I love speaking of Gods mercy and grace through His son Jesus Christ. My favorite group or singer if I had one is probably the NewsBoys and Michael W Smith. I pray and hope nothing but the best for all of you on this site. God bless
Welcome. The guys in here are the best. No fusses, no attacks on each others beliefs etc. The Rev started this thread for us, so there would be no attacks etc. There's also a non-Christian thread. My most favorite group is Mercy Me. I like a lot of other groups, but, to me their music says it all. Get comfortable and have fun in here. The other guys will be on to welcome you soon I'm sure. God Bless, Debby
Thanks for the warm welcome. Mercy Me is a good group with many good songs. I have seen many groups in person but not this one yet, we will see what God brings my way. Ps- I can only imagine is very inspirational.
Welcome, brother. They call me The Rev but I am not ordained. We love the Lord here and treat each other the way He would wants us to. Share your favorite song, verse, or prayer. It's all good. I'm going to see Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman in November with my wife. I can't wait. We are blessed to have Pastor Keith (Ohiophinphan) as a sort of spiritual adviser on this thread. He is good people and I'm sure you'll be meeting him soon. Anything else, just ask. GB
I just got to see them on The Gospel Channel. They sang for 1 1/2 hours. They just bless me. I'd love to see them in person. I like Third Day also. There's more, but I can't think right now, I'm still hearing MM sing. LOL I see the Rev came in, he's super and so is Ohio. I consider them friends, not just forum people. You'll come to see why. God Bless, Debby
My sister would probably kill, LOL, to go see Michael W. Smith. The closest any of the good groups come is in Atlanta and it's just to hard to get up there. Avalon did come and sing at one of our baseball games in Columbus a few years ago. They put on a great concert on a big flat bed truck at 2nd base.
Welcome aboard! I too am an ordained pastor. I am also a passionate Dolphin fan. My favorite Christian musical artist is JS Bach. OK, I'm an old guy! The discussions here can get heated, not often with anger, but always with passion for Christ and His word. We sometimes disagree but we strive never to be disagreeable. Its a fine line and we are not perfect but we have fun and keep each other in prayer! Again, welcome aboard!
Welcome to the boards bbqpitlover, we are thrilled you've joined us. I am not ordained but passed 3 years of seminary training and am an Altar Minister & Prayer Partners Captain at Christ Fellowship church in WPB Florida. We are very blessed to share God's love, mercy and grace in this thread and enjoy living up to the passage: "there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus", one of my favorites. We are not here to condemn, we are here to love and support each of us whom are spiritual family, regardless of their personal sexual preference or other differences that "religion" likes to condemn, while Christ said just to love one another. so glad you're here, if you ever need extra prayer for someone, please let us know and I'll add you/them to our prayer request sheet at Christ Fellowship, with over 25,000 members we see some powerful results to prayer quite often. All our members here on this site are truly loving and superb people, some of us get a little cranky when the dolphins lose on occasion, but we still love on each other, helps us in these dark times for the Fins. And as you know, the Dolphins are in need of all the prayers they can get these days.
Howdy bro, welcome ! Love that name of yours.....I am a huge BBQ fan, as I try to cookout at least once a week on my Weber grill. We all love the Lord here, and are from very different backgrounds (I am a member of the Orthodox Church in America - The OCA) but it all comes back to the Truth, the Light, and the Way, which is that of Our Lord Jesus Christ. God Bless you and your ministry
We love you too Debby, you're our favorite gal. Now let me know if you want to see that game from yesterday and I will do what I can to get it up on the net for you to download. Trust me its not that hard, and you will soooooo love this game.
