Coolest Helmet IMO, is the Dolphins you friggin traitors!!! No but seriously the Steelers are pretty cool.....yeh...Pittsburgh.
The Browns have to have the ugliest helmet. Like a pile of crap slapped on to both sides of the helmet.

Well if we must exclude the Dolphin helment My favorite is the Packer helmet, mainly since yellow-gold is my co-most favorite color(along with aqua). My 2nd favorite is the Redskins helmet, since it is very similar to the Dolphin helmet(3 stripes, alternate color mask, mascot in a circle on the side). In the past I loved the Rams helmet when it was royal blue with the yellow gold horn. Since they changed colors to the Notre Dame shades it does not look as good. Also I dislike navy blue and silver for helmet colors.
not really the original thread, but hey all, long time lurker finally deciding to join (although i usually don't have much worthwhile to add...). as long as we're throwing motorcycle/race car helmets, i'll say that gerry cheever's goalie mask is about the coolest thing i've ever seen. -tubby
