First of all, like Ricky, I appreciate the fact I can come on here and learn things and discuss. Despite some posters here, I really do enjoy the time passing during the offseason. We may not all agree on Tannehill, Parker, Suh, Landry, contracts, free agency, etc...But 99.9% love our Phins. I'd rather argue with you than a random Jets fan packing a knife This may sound dumb, but tomorrow means a ton to me. I have started now a 3 year tradition of taking my kids to opening camp. I am trying hard to pass the torch. It's hard for them to get into it, because all their lives Miami has sucked. However, they sense things are changing. I won't be attending many games, so to see the players up close and feel the buzz is enough to make me happy during a tumultuous life. I am all in this year (again), but even harder with my man cave built, all the Phins shirts I bought and my passion for Juice Landry. He has motivated me during some very hard times I faced. Sometimes I wonder where I would be the past few years if I didn't have the Dolphins to have some optimism on life. It was important for me to write this, because now you'll understand what angle I am coming from in my posts. I have waited and waited since Jan for this. I hope to report some positive things tomorrow, the buzz, the smells and sights and of course, our Boys. I have a gut feeling this year will be special. I feel we have waited long enough and the time is now. My life has been turning around and this helps me turn the corner. See you guys tomorrow. Thephins.com will rep in Davie
That's awesome bud. I'm a Phins fan because of my Dad. He used to pal around with Griese and Buonocotti in the late 70's when he was one of the bigwigs at The Marco Island Marriott. Has one hilarious story when he was the emcee for a big charity event and Terry Bradshaw carried Griese onto the stage like a baby in his arms. Whole room erupted in laughter. So when I was a little kid Dolphins were always on and that's been my team my whole life. Enjoy these times man. They go by fast. Glad they can be there as kids to see the dawn of a dominant Dolphins era. Very cool
