Wow what a rough start. Palmer did god-awful, Cooley had 1 point, and I'm currently watching Addai struggle and leave the field.

    Yikes.

Addai got hurt? Damn. That offsets my elation at getting Marques Colston; guy had Colston and Brady, I sent him Favre and Driver and got Colston in return.

Addai got hit pretty hard and left the game with a "head injury". He was on the sideline but never came back in. I duno if its that serious bc Indy was down so much that it wouldnt of made sense to bring him back in anyways. I really dont like what his value is starting to look like tho with Rhodes back and Saturday out.

Losing Saturday is definitely huge for them. I hope Addai is alright and bounces back for week 2. You'd think the Colts would pass to set up the run in that instance.

so i just got offered MJD and Folk for Reggie Bush and Kateing. and MJD wouldn't even be my starter. Am i missing something here or is this a steal for me?

That's a knee-jerk trade. Jones-Drew had a poor week 1, Reggie Bush was practically the entire Saints offense: Colston, Shockey, and McAllister did nothing, and Meachem was inactive. Not sure why Folk is in there, maybe to grease the wheels a little bit. It's not like Kaeding is a bad fantasy kicker in his own right.

I'd definitely do that trade. I think over the course of the season MJD puts up more numbers than Bush, simply because Brees has too many targets. Remember, they were playing Tampa Bay, whose defense is entirely predicated on containment and taking away the long play, so Bush is a great matchup against that defense.

Aright heres a question I've been debating:

I have Addai (unfortunately at the moment). I really want to pick up Rhodes to handcuff him, but I dont really have room right now. So I'm struggling with who I should drop to make room for him.

    Roster:

    Palmer, Garcia

    Addai, McFadden, D. Williams, Slaton

    Fitz, Marshall, Burleson, Jackson, Walter

    Cooley

    Indy, Minn

    Gramatica

So in the meantime, I'm dropping Walter to pick up Fasano if my waiver goes through. Cooley is having a rough start and Fasano looks like a nice pick up.

So now who should I drop to make room for Rhodes? I think Slaton has a decent chance to win the starting job in Hou and gain some value. Burleson may or may not be in rough shape (he hurt his knee against Buffalo). And Im also reconsidering carrying Indy as my second D after their crappy performance against Chicago.

So I guess its pretty much between Slaton, Burleson, and Indy unless someone else thinks differently. This is a pretty tough call IMO.

Drop the Indy defense, but I think every one of your current RBs will be more productive than Rhodes even if Addai misses time. Remember, Jeff Saturday is out for another five or six weeks, so Indy's RBs are inherently less valuable without him. (Wish I had known about Saturday being out before I took Addai on one of my teams...)

Tell me about it. Between that and Peyton not coming back in great form, Indy looks rough. I took Addai a few days before Saturday went down. :pity:

Their D looked very poor ton though. Didnt expect it to be that bad.

Yeah, I don't know what happened there. Was Bob Sanders playing? If not, that's why. It looks like a lot of teams had the injury bug this preseason. We were lucky enough to avoid it.

Sanders was in. He had one big hit on Forte but that was pretty much it. Forte carved Indy up.

Ya thank god for no injuries on our side. lol Did you catch the Porter/Cox incident? That was hilarious.

Sanders was in and the run defense STILL looked like that? Pathetic. I've got the Indy defense, but I also have Oakland and Tampa Bay; if Indy still blows after next week, I'm dropping them. You should too.

I did not catch Porter/Cox. What happened?

Yea, tell me about it. I'll prob be dropping them before that since they play Minn next week anyways.

lol From what I saw, Nugent was trying to practice on our end during warm ups and after he set up a kick, Porter went over and kicked the ball off the tee and told him to get out of there. He and Cox cursed each other out for a few mins. Was funny to see him knock the ball off the tee tho, and even better since he def showed up today.

I wouldn't mind seeing Porter knock Cox out. But that's just me.

Man, I look like a genius for taking Forte and DeAngelo Williams in the second Club Level league. And he's not even my starter!

Out for the year? Damn. My receivers take yet another hit. I've really whiffed on that position this year. Edwards did nothing, Colston did nothing, Ocho Stinko did nothing, Welker did nothing.

Simms was turned away once he got to the team headquarters. They said "change of plans" lol. Cassell has been named starter. If he struggles, Guitierrez could get some looks.

Ok, going into this weekend I had Russel and O'Sullivan as my QB's. Well I picked up Matt Ryan, and wound up getting Cassel too (cut o'sullivan).

well I had been trying to get Kitna, and now am offered a trade of Kitna for Edge james.

My current RBs are: Gore, J. Lewis, Edge, Chester Taylor, Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, and Tim Hightower.

We play 2 RBs and a flex.

Should I take the trade, and take my chances with CJ in the flex, or take my chances with Cassel?

Kitna isn't a big enough upgrade to get rid of James, IMO.

Find the guy with Jay Cutler and see if he's willing to deal.

Yeah, I'm still not sure about it. I don't have a particular desire to get rid of Turner right now, especially with my poor RB depth. We'll see.

jones is looking better by the minute:lol:

My fear with Turner is that teams will put 8 guys in the box and limit what he does, and force Ryan to throw the ball.

So, play action to Roddy White gets the safety to back off. Besides, I think Turner will be fine even with 8 guys in the box. (I'm sure Detroit gameplanned to stop the run regardless.) 80 yards rushing and 1 TD a week is still solid fantasy production.

Well, I had Brady in one of my leagues, with Vince Young as my backup.

I got an offer for Bulger/Ginn Jr. for Selvin Young. Based on Young's pitiful performance tonight, and my lack of depth, I felt like I had to accept it, although I'm not really excited to have Bulger as a starter. Maybe I can parlay Bulger and Cotchery into a decent QB and WR.
