I was excited for this until I saw the costume. In this day and age THIS is what they come up with? Looks like a costume from the 70's Spiderman series. Fail. Hopefully the show will be better than this.
While I think they could do better....the idea that a person in any kind of normal setting would wear a costume of any sort requires a high degree of suspension of disbelief. It's an unsolvable problem in many contexts, imo. Works best in movies in alternate universes that don't take themselves too seriously. Even Batman only works in certain contexts
I don't mind it. Tough to make everyone happy when it's literally 1 step up from wearing pajamas in public.
Not tough at all. Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Thor, Captain America, Green Lantern, even Daredevil....all got it right with the costume. This looks like something you can get at a Halloween store. I'm fine with them changing the color (although why they did that I don't know) but at least make it not look like a bad biker outfit.
Questions: When does it start? What network? Is this the same guy playing Flash as in the Arrow series?

I agree with those of you who do not like the costume. They could have done much better. I also like his role on Arrow.
