Has anyone out there picked up the blu-rays? I'm thinking about grabbing it, and I was wondering if it was worth it.

    Thanks

I got it only because I didn't buy the original DVD collection when it was out. I recommend it. Definitely looks awesome in blu-ray.

I've never watched The Godfather. Is it worth it? I liked Goodfellas.

If I had an HD tv and a BluRay players I'd definitely buy it. You shouldn't be able to comment on movies unless you have seen The Godfather Trilogy, well maybe just the first two for some people.

Brando = the ****. They should rename the Best Actor Oscar 'The Brando' (and the Best Supporting Actor Oscar 'The Ledger).

I bought it, you can find it around $60 some places, and it is worth that for sure. For a 70's movie it looks great, but I was super impressed by the sound quality.

Worth it? Oh my yes, that movie defines the genre. Part II is excellent as well as it tells two stories, one showing Vito's rise to notoriety. Part III was meh.
