my story with the grey hat

Every year, I make a bet with 2 buddies (1 Cowboy, 1 Bear fan). The bet is, $50 to the guy who's team has the best record. No backing out, despite how stacked the odds were against me this year. So here was the email correspondance:

Thats funny how you have two buddies that are Bear and Cowboy fans. I know both of those clubs have a lot of fans, but two good friends of mine are also fans of those teams. I think its no coincidence that those are the two teams I hate the most outside of the AFCE.

the best is having to suffer the indignity of calling and ordering a champion dolphins hat. but i dont mind da bears, pretty classy franchise right there. history. sweetness.

 

That's funny.. you just reminded me that I made a bet with a Bears fan earlier in the year. It was right after the Jets game where he was on his "We just beat Peyton Manning and the Colts!" high... I told him that I thought Miami could be pretty good with the way they played the Jets... he told me no way they would finish better than "Da Bears!" and he told me he'd bet me $5 that the Bears would finish better than Miami...

Sure, it's $5... but it buys me lunch during work and brings some pride for being a Dolphins fan.

 

I really can't wait till I get my gear.

Just got an email saying that the hat and t that I ordered is on back order/advance order and is not yet ready to ship. Anyone else getting anything like this?

 

If someone buys the $25 cap, and the $25 shirt for the Division, Conference, and Superbowl, its $150. You can buy a couple of nice jerseys for that much

 

Or get a superbowl hat and jersey :D

 

Is it me or did the dolphin on the hats the players were wearing look kinda greyish/discolored?

I'm not talking about the hat, I'm talking about the dolphin logo on the hat. I know real dolphins are grey, but the one in our logo is aqua.

 

I live in Denver and bet a Bronco fan $5 a game for who would have a better record this season!!!!

I did not expect either team to do as well as they did but I am sure stoked!!!

Bronco mania is dead the homers are all bundled up by the fire and I am the only one outside screaming on Sunday WOOT!!! What a glorious season!

 

And they're charging us $25 for hats that fade with water?
I mean, it rains every day in Miami

Hey i won a chipotle on the dolphins going 11-5... I made a bet before the dolphin-bronco game that miami would finish out with a better record...
