I love his works.

 

Jurassic Park was the first non-childrens book I read cover-to-cover. Ashame.

 

I read Congo back in JR HS and wrote a book report on it. My first MC book.

 

Shame to hear. He's my favorite author and his newer stuff had some very good content. Jurassic Park is a great American novel, too.

 

JP, sphere, the andromeda strain-- all great works. RIP

 

I had no idea he was sick? Didnt he have a novel come out recently?

 

just saw this on tv, i was shocked. 66 is so young. such a shame, he was responsible for some great books thats for sure.

 

One of the best remaining American authors. Will be truly missed.

 

He and Robert Jordan both gone now.

Very sad.

Was sad to see an article in todays newspaper about the passing of one of my favorite authors.

Died on the 4th. He was most well known for writing books such as Jurassic Park The Andromeda Strain and Shpere. Also created the hit TV show ER. I always loved how he brought relevant topics in social scientific issues to light in entertaining and insightful manners. Rest in Peace man.

 

Ah just saw the main one down the page a bit, im tired and missed it the first time, can MERGE it
