Being a "homer" means making up any excuse under the sun to try and prove your team is good, whether they are or not. "We beat ourselves", 'The refs screwed us", "we shouldn't have lost to that team".

As a Jet fan, you should be well versed in this.

The Colts lying down preserved the DOLPHINS record, dimwit. Had we been being homers, we would have been HAPPY they lost.

Now crawl back home, put on the "Hulk Hands" you bought at Toys R Us, and await your inevitable playoff beatdown, and stop trying to use words you don't understand before you begin to sound like Mike Tyson.
