Ireland will be running the GML this year... as such, there's a few new rules: Draft picks may only be used on players rated one round later on your draft board. All second round picks will be discarded. A 10 million dollar salary enhancement will be added to your 1st free agent signing. All free agent signing must be accompanied by a realistic questionnaire (ie Is your mother a prostitute? What would you do for a Klondike bar? Do you like fishdicks?)
Nope. This is all manual using the forums only. You get assigned a team and you manage it through free agency/draft etc. It's a slow tedious process..........but a good way to make some new friends...........and enemies ;p Take a look at some of the team pages, the draft threads, etc.

The main thing is being available and highly active on a near daily basis for a couple months. Especially being flexible during the draft period. Being available by phone helps (ie: tie your phone to email alerts and have every PM from this forum alert you in email).

I had fun last year and was a nice pain in the *** for some as a rookie. In fact my lead team is actually worse record wise...but I find them more intriguing. Heh...yah I don't see that happening.

Depends on how many returning players. If there are open spots the new guys get the slags (hence me getting the Bills last year...no one wanted ;p). If we have a lot of returning players + new players you may have to partner up with someone as their "Co-GM/Assistant GM".
