It doesn't look quite as bad as I thought it was going to be. Not a pure remake but "another take." But let me ask one thing: Why is a "Karate" movie taking place in China with a style that is not Karate? They should call it the Kung Fu Kid. Sexy name.
It has funny homages to the original movie though.

The fly swatter thing did make me laugh but I won't be seeing this movie unless it's on HBO or something like that. I admit it doesn't look as cheesy as I thought it would but I still don't think this is a good idea to remake it.
