“This whole offseason I’m probably going to be working out with him the whole time trying to learn as much as I can from him,” Vernon said. “Anything to help me get better I’m going to do. I know he has a whole lot to offer and he’s a really good teacher, so whatever I can grab and any kind of knowledge I can get from him, I’m going to be annoying to him and I’m going to be bugging him the whole time.”
“From the first day he stepped on the field he’s been making plays and doing great things,” said Wake, who made it to his second Pro Bowl in three years after notching a career-high 15 sacks. “I’ve seen things that he’s done, running around chasing Tannehill and going against Jake Longin practice and I have no doubt in my mind that he can get it done.”
Workout with Wake all offseason.....yes please, hopefully some fat asses like Jerry and Paul can get with the kracken program.

When Kraken was last seen, he was heading to deep water off of HI:

I am so disappointed that we believe we have the answer at rush end in Olivier Vernon. That's gonna cost us passing up the best DE crop in a decade.
-
-
He's raw -
An offseason working out with wake, with his natural brute strength, could be explosive in itself Pod, literally he may be able to move people out of the way, his body and strength potential for his age is off the charts..
He already plays the run similarly to wake, uses one arm to stick the tackle on a lot of occasions, I love that sh&$ -
This reminds me about Wake talking up Porter.
Then Joey turned Cam into his enemy. I doubt that happens again.
Vernon disappeared last season late. Bigger motor than Odrick though. -
He does have the rubber ankles but not at wake's level, he's powerful it's more he just does not know what to do afterwards
Sort of like a teen kissing the girl in the back of the car at the prom..when..uhm..she brought condoms...
INOW, have to finish -
He runs well. Has a great motor. I'm thinking his development is very important and the Dolphins know it. -
-
That sort of first step explosion is what he did not show, however, Wake had to be taught how to do it as well.
I think from a CFLer by the name of Brent Johnson or maybe James "Quick" Parker
As for being young again..ahh..those were the dayz.. -

Cameron gets under that better than anyone in the league we know. Tall order.
Not like he has to pick his hand up off the ground and play in 3-4. Like Matt Roth did. -
-
If OV can come close to it, he can be a better rusher than Wake from a technical standpoint, meaning Wake rarely uses things like spins or swims or arm overs, but without that first step you stay glued to blocks -
We all know Cameron Wake is a freak. Embrace Kracken as you guys call him, helping young talent. -

squid have multiple babies. He's missing a few thousand.

Panda is just a bad man. A very bad man. -
edit: baby squid is in reference to what pads calls him. -
Baby squid did that last yr, which hints at he also has some explosiveness.
And Deej, is right, baby squid is really physically underdeveloped:
Another thing that sticks in my mind is his teammates were laughing at him last yr when he "injured" an ankle then returned in the second half -
RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!!
If your on the the John, pun intended. -
Verns body is just naturally freakish. -
-
I don't know if he could go on Wake's program, hours of workouts, strict diet control. So much so Derrick Shelby tweeted Wake to "eat a cheeseburger already!" -

That is why I called him the Kraken
