Jason Taylor-DL- Redskins Apr. 27 - 9:30 am et
Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland says his front office hasn't talked about adding free agent Jason Taylor.
The Dolphins didn't draft a pass-rusher, but they did add CFL star Cameron Wake a couple of months ago. The Pats also bypassed a pass-rusher with their myriad of draft picks, so New England may still be his most likely destination.

i would really like to get him back to miami....cant think of a better situational pass rusher

I'm not sure how I feel -- I am a HUGE fan of Jason's, but would he fit well now with the new "mindset" our team has adopted? The team has moved on, and so much has changed...

I would rather Jason be a Dolphin than a patsy.

He'll probably end up doing the "vetran thing" of missing the majority of TC and then sign on with someone.

Jason, you are in HHI? I live in Savannah, but lived in HHI for 6 years. Used to hand out at the Drydock to watch all the games. How long have you lived there?

Taylor More Likely to Return to Dolphins

Our pass rush will be better and more diverse in 2009 from the development of Merling and Langford than if we added JT in my opinion. As well as having better talent at the corner position to get our rushers more time. Cam Wake is a wildcard at this point. JT wouldn't hurt, but I don't think he'd be the reason for a good pass rush or a not good pass rush. More of a compliment at this point, imo.

Ok, enough exclamation points. You get it. I will concede that they have no incentive to mislead here, as they did in the above examples, but I refuse to believe JT will go to the Pats. he might, and I don't blame him, but man it's our own damn fault if he does and you can't blame him for that.padre31 likes this. -

I hope our FO gets him in here. I know i probably shouldnt but im startin to question some of the moves by them this offseason. We'll see though, i have a feeling ill be proven wrong.

Why does everyone assume JT will sign with Miami or New England? I'm serious. There are 30 other teams out there. I could argue that at least 10 other teams would be a nice fit for JT.
