Conuficusluxury_boxOPYou may be wondering what Universaldraft.com is, as chances are you've never heard of it before.
It is the union of ideas from CK, Boomer and myself into one site that is focused on the NFL Draft and the eligible prospects for this year and beyond. This site will have detailed scouting reports on every prospect listed (although they are not all uploaded yet :wink2:) when all is said and done. Over the course of the next week, you will see more and more player analysis pages added, until every player has a detailed scouting report.
I personally have devoted a great deal of my time as have others, to this over the last few months, and it has seen several variations as the site has become ever more fine tuned. Hopefully this site becomes a welcome addition to your must see list of draft websites.
Please note that this site is being debuted here at ThePhins.com first, and then will disseminated to other sites as time progresses. Please understand that there is still some fine tuning of the site that is presently going on. Managing it between just us three can be hard at times, as we all have alternate lives,..........or at least CK and Boomer claim to. :lol:
Anyways, the basic point is please let us know if you see anything that needs fixing, and expect some aspects of the site to possibly change a little. Thanks for your understanding and I hope you like what we've done so far.
Currently there are player analysis pages for Offensive Tackles, Inside Linebackers, some of the Center and corner prospects. Please be patient as each day you'll see more and more content added.

anlgpNew MemberI like the design. Nice and simplistic. The content is and should be the first thing that pops out. Never been high on the marquee effect, though. Other than that I haven't really dove into it. Those are just my first impressions.

What is the content management system you are using? Joomla! is a nice, free one. You can find out about it here. http://www.joomla.org . I don't know if you guys are looking to keep it looking and acting the way it is (looks and acts nice, btw) but the front page of this site (http://www.thephins.com/) is made with Joomla! and it's not very difficult to use.

Joomla is a good program, as we get more comfortable with the daily upkeep and such of the site we will explore all options.
So once we get past the Draft and have a little respit - in relative terms, the site will expand and evolve.

The purpose I guess :lol:, would be to provide a better level of breakdown than what can be found already out there for free. I have looked at a few other websites over the course of my time on the web, and have been left asking why do they sound contradictory. The other guys feel the same, and differently about it.
We hope to use the team drafting tables, as they become more in depth and expansive to produce more accurate Mock Drafts.
In short. :wink2:
Also to provide a database of player profiles that can be available to the users here first and then hopefully expand as time goes along.

The current Mock is mine by the way, so if anyone wants to say who went where........blame me.
Noticed a few content errors that you might want to correct:
-In the mock draft, for the Everette Brown/Browns pick, you say that Orakpo went off the board at #2 to St. L when you have him going #4 to Seattle
-In the mock draft, under the Brian Cushing/Bills pick, you mispelled Kawika Mitchell's name
-In the mock draft, under Maclin/Texans pick, the wide receiver is Kevin Walter, not Kevin Curtis, who is the WR at Philly
-In the Bears/Peria Jerry pick, you mis-spelled Dvoracek
-In the OLB rankings, for everyone you have ht, wt, and 40 time except Connor Barwin... he has no height and has his 10 yard split in there instead, you probably want continuity with your rankings
-In the OLB rankings, Johnny Williams' ht, wt, 40 time, etc aren't bolded like the rest
-In the TE rankings, Jared Bronson, has '10 yard split' written where it should be 'stock'
-In the OT rankings, Dan Gay's projection says 'Roun' not 'Round'
-In CB rankings, Vontae Davis has no height, he has 10 yard split instead
That was just a quick run through, I will let you know if I find anything else.

Centers, Offensive Tackles, and Corners have the links added, although the whole class hasn't been linked in each position. As this week progresses outisde linebackers and guards at the very least will be added.
