I guess they grade on the process, not outcome. A pass dropped by a receiver isn't counted against the QB for instance. #2 is still way to high for Tannehill, he's struggling right now.

He was near perfect under pressure according to their analysis...that gets a lot of weight. Drops where the ball was very catchable count as positive for the QB (because he did his job) and negative on the receiver.

His overall grade for this game was "average." Overall for game one was excellent. Evidently they don't feel any QB besides Matt Ryan (currently ranked #1) has been better over two games.

Looking at the games I've watched other teams play, I've gotta say there are many bad throws and decisions from all levels of QB. Nobody's perfect.

If he doesn't seriously improve next week, I would sit him to teach him a lesson and see how he responds.

Tannehill so far is next to last in WPA, and 32nd out of 35 in EPA. He's playing horribly.

Those stats don't take drops into consideration, which is why the differ so much from pff's rankings

I hate to say that I was right, but Tannehill is definitely on the hot seat these coming weeks.

Does PFF take into account that Ryan tannehill has had roughly 20 batted balls. majority from the past two games. Doug Flutie thinks that's pathetic...

In the three games this season he has 6, which leads the league.

No question but to be honest his performance this season so far does not merit getting benched for a guy who hasn't started in 3 years. They have to at least give him Oakland as a chance to put himself together against a more evenly matched opponent.
