Anybody catch the premiere of this fantastic show? It's on Monday nights on, of all places, ABC family. Based on the Viper comic, it is blisteringly funny in a Men In Black way, only with a quicker, more urbane feel. I can't recommend it highly enough. I desperately hope it survives.
I can't wait to hear your thoughts, particularly as you are a Doctor Who fan. I think this would appeal to your sensibilities.
Have you seen the previews for Primeval? Reading viewer comments on BBC they say its better than Torchwood. http://bbcamerica.com/content/320/index.jsp
This is the first time I've seen this thread. Doc, I love The Middleman. In my warped opinion, it's one of the best shows on right now. It's definitely one of a very select few that I make a point to watch every week. Of note: Noser's lyrical dialogue. "So Noser, what does become of the brokenhearted?" "I don't know. I suppose they've got find some kind of peace of mind....maybe."
FYI : at the ABC Family website you can watch full episodes. http://community.abcfamily.go.com/watch/middleman
Forgot to post: saw my first episode last week...enjoyed it. Now I have tivo set to record each episode. I was never a fan of this type of comedy, a bit broad; don't know how a whole season will wear on me, but we'll see. Hey, if nothing else the chick is hot. And the lesbian tension simmering just under the surface does intrigue.
The fact that it was on ABC Family - a channel which, to be honest, I didn't even know existed until I happened on this thread - couldn't have helped.
