first, even if the game has been called while the phillies were up the phillies would not be world series champions. MLB would not have a world series end that way and Selig even said it, 2, with that said the Phillies are 3 outs away of winning the world series
I must say congrats to Roman, he's been waiting for a long time for it. Anyway one word to describe this WS would be 'yawn'. Maybe it was because of the weather, bad umping or sloppy play but it was just boring (minus today's last few innings). Not any drama at all. I also think Joe Maddon was exposed big time in the playoffs, especially tonight. Again congrats to the Phillies and the fans, they were a very good team this year and deserved the title.
congrats to the Phillies and their fans...long awaited and much deserved. I actually enjoyed this World Series...all the games except for one were one-run nail biters. I'm happy for Brad Lidge. Who lost himself after that HR he gave up to Pujols a few years ago and worked hard to get himself back to greatness and saneness.
