We had a good game against the Yankees today we won 9-7. Not sure if we'll be making any moves at the Deadline but I can't wait to see who we get in the Draft.
draft this year is definitely something different then years past. but still should be exciting. if we can take 2 of 3 i would be happy. yankees are a top the division and playing very good ball as of late..
I support most Florida teams...Im not a Diehard fan but I support Florida teams Rays beat Phillies tonight 7-1...It was nice to see Pat The Bat hitting a Homerun against his old team
You might win the series because you have a very good team, but you aren't going to sweep it. You beat us in the middle of a rough stretch, and we're a much better team than you saw. EDIT: I'm sure you guys would say this about ours too, but your announcers are SOOO annoying to me. Every routine ground ball is a GREAT PLAY BY SOANDSO. Ugh I wanna punch the TV.
lol Its fine Kennedy is new...Im not too sure about him yet. But we have never lost when we have a concert after the game.
Its actually Staats that annoys me I think but thats really because I'm used to our guys. Game two has been great so far.
like i said, we are going to sweep them. price on the mound today going to bounce back from his rough start last outing. as far as announcers, i could understand if u dont like kennedy cuz hes not great, but staats is awesome, and all the years hes been here ive never heard him do what u say he does Alex. btw, the marlins announcers arent annoying, but it compares to watching paint dry. most boring announcers in the MLB
We sweep the Marlins with a 5-2 win today...feels good, were now in 3rd place in the AL East a game and a half behind New York
So the feeling is mutual about our announcers You did sweep us afterall though, thats what I came back to say. You have a great team that matches up EXTREMELY well against our for whatever reason. I figured if we went 3-3 against Boston and the Yankees we'd take at least one for you. I was wrong. Good luck the rest of the way.
we hung a loss on the Doc yesterday, we have faired pretty well against him the last few years, so it wasnt to much of a suprise, specially considering he was coming off the DL. we need Garza(tonight) and Shields(tomorrow) to come up pretty big if we want to continue the winning streak. 2 very good offenses, but i see this being a low scoring series.
Garza pitched well tonight...Garza is one of those pitcher that now you expect him to come out there and throw 3 and 4 hit games with maybe 1 run without a problem
8:05 PM ET, July 03, 2009 Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Arlington, Texas (TAM: Kazmir (4-4) 7.28 ERA, TEX: Hunter (0-1) 3.86 ERA)
Clearly you boys are in this thing....I dont know if I agree with Gammons that you can win the East by 5 games and jump over both Yanks and Sox....but you could win the east for sure....the 3 way battle for Division and WC will be one of the best story lines of the 2nd half for sure.
the east is such a ridiculous division. ****!!!! i think we can win it, theres no doubt if our starting pitching pitchs the way their capible, we can win the east by 5 games, but im not sure thats going to happen. we have 2 rookies in our rotation and Kazmir is looking far to hittable, like hes just throwing the ball over the plate to do it. we'll see.

Just want to Thank the Rays on behalf of Atlanta Braves fans everywhere. We are no longer the last team to have a Perfect Game pitched against us
