everyone knows they will be fine they dont care about the regular season but as a fan it sucks to watch these games and there will be plenty more like this trust me

I don't understand the logic here. It's the second game of the season and in two full seasons together, they have never been beat down more than a few games in each season. Just like any really good team.

Solid post.

That game felt like the Heat's protest at the game not being canceled.

Ronny Turiaf sighting!

Btw, is that Ricky Davis out there for the Lakers?

Seriously, who's the dude in the braids with the low headband? Looks ridiculous in the year 2012. Maybe he's from another time...

Why are Matt Barnes and Lamar Odom wearing Clipppers jerseys?

Lakers might have the worst perimeter defense ever. Clippers are getting anywhere they want to on the floor at any time.

Did I just see Eddie Jordan on the Lakers sideline? That explains a lot... Looks like Mike Brown might not be the worst Lakers coach...

I saw that when they played Dallas a few days ago. Thought it was pretty funny.

Seriously. All this talk about the Lakers going to a Princeton offense and I never realized they brought in the WOAT to run it.

You can say so. But this NYK squad isn't the same mess from last year's. With a full training camp, size coming in, and PG acquisitions, the Knicks is going to be a deep threat to the Heat than you think. ECF matchup.

I think that's it. I mean what else could it have been.

Never mind Knicks players didnt want to play either, they must have changed their mind a few minutes before gametime.

But if u watched the game the Heat did look like they were protesting defending the 3 point shot.

Gotta give the Knicks credit for showing up to work.

More like they just quit. It happens when a team realize they can't stop the raining 3's. Either way, the Heat and Spoelstra got caught surprise by the excellent ball movement by the NYK, thinking it's going to be an ISO-set driven matchup.

How are Sheed and Jason Kidd still alive?
And the Heat got caught napping, Cant win them all(unless you are the 72 Dolphins)

I think it's time to panic. The Bobcats lead our division. You think we can catch up?

Sec, any thoughts on 76ers hiring Aaron Barzilai? You seem to know a lot about advanced stats. All I know is he runs basketballvalue.com and used to work for the Grizzlies.

Guy is top notch. He is the first "wages of wins" guy with a NBA job. So it is an embrace of the eff. ratings.

As for the game, Knicks were allowed to mug the pick and roll and the Heat decided to play terrible defense in the first quarter.

It was a replay of that San Antonio game two years ago.

I loved the Knicks ball movement. They looked really good. In fact, the only thing the Heat did well was defend the paint, and defend Melo 1 on 1.

Bosh is the only Heat player that played a complete game.

On to the next.

Awesome shot from Ray.

Where's our defense though?

They played some in the last 2 minutes. That will come. They are a step slow on rotations, and aren't trapping as much. Teams are driving and kicking on us. Coach Spo will adjust.
