    Bron is reported to be in Baja, vacationing. What do you want to bet that he is in that room with Riley and Melo?

    I'm not buying the "absolute max demand" line. Lebron will do what he needs to do to improve his supporting cast. So will Bosh and Dwyane.

    Plus, Spriley and the Arisons have to know by now what folly it was to amnesty Mike Miller to stay under the luxury tax, and what it cost this team in the finals.

    I think the Arisons will be ALL IN to put a championship roster around Lebron to keep him happy.

    Okay let's cut this Mike Miller stuff right to the core.

    He was a nice guy. The players liked him. And he is the most vastly overrated Heat player of all time.

    He played in a grand total of 139 games here, starting only 21.

    He was a DNP-CD or injured the vast majority of his time here. He hit 7 3's in a game against OKC we would've won anyway. And the shoeless game didn't swing on that either

    @EthanJSkolnick 9m Riley will try to sell "top" guys on taking less. If that doesn't work, he will lock down multiple depth guys quickly. Then we'll see.

    And in the finals, when NOBODY could buy a shot, would he have had value? I think so.

    Anyway, I only named Miller as an example of (wisely) wanting to avoid the luxury tax, but how it can cost in terms of a player who could be trusted to hit a shot when it counted. And that the team would be less likely to disappoint Lebron again in that way, and that it would venture into the luxury tax to put the right guys here.

    Maybe not Brooklyn-crazy, but something reasonable.

    In two more years with six straight finals and likely another ring I'd doubt he leaves. Even less likely than this time IMO.

    Lol. If he comes back with Pau and Melo, then that means two of your big three are leaving. Although, I would probably take a LeBron, Gasol, Melo core over the LeBron, Wade, Bosh combo.

    Ohm that worked so well the last time, perhaps he could do it on WCW Raw or something just for effect.

    NBA media is as bad as the Ref's, but have to say Windhorst is the creepiest SOB I've heard since Pee Wee's Big Adventure

    Noah looks like someone with stank breath, so Bulls are automatically out, won't be shocked if Pau makes Rose dance for him too.

    My prediction, Pau, Melo, Deng, and Boozer will join the Heat with Wade, Bosh, and Lebron. That my friend will out do 2010.

    Thats not even possible capwise unless all 4 of those guys signed basically 2-3M deals. Melo alone is at least on par with wade, imo hes better but im willing to accept other viewpoints knowings its 73% heat fans in this thread :)

    Boozer will be paid 2m, Melo will take in 10m, Wade will take in 10m, Bosh will be paid in the complete Jurassic Park dvds, Lebron will get his 20m, Pau will be paid 8m, we dump Norris Cole to the Clippers for a 2017 protected 2nd round pick to give Boozer his money, Haslem will take in 2m.

    Wade = Better defender
    Melo = Better shooter

    Honestly as much as I love Wade, Melo is a better compliment to Lebron.

    Wade is more efficient on offense than Melo, is better on defense, and most importantly, doesn't play the same position as LeBron. Melo is not a better complement, at least not on paper.

    Wade is more efficient because he is able to carry less of an offensive load and choose more efficient shots. To say Wade is better than Melo offensively is just homerism beyond even myself.

    Let me be one to say...**** You Mike Miller. Good riddance. But We might sign you in a year...so...hope you are healthy. LOL!

    Jim Harbaugh DID tell his medical staff at Stanford that he was leaving to Miami. PERIOD. I will go to my grave on that one.

    Pau I can see. Melo? Unless the plan is to ditch one of the other three, won't happen. Not with the amount of money he was offered today by L.A. and New York. And not with New York's ability to contend starting next year. LeBron, Wade or Bosh would have to be gone in order for Miami to grab Melo.

    Unless, of course, all the talk of max deals from LeBron and big deals for Wade/Bosh aren't real.

    Also, Kupchak is in Cleveland, talking with LeBron's agent. Apparently chartered a private jet immediately after the Carmelo pitch. Lakers fans are having fun with it, but most believe it is just him trying to do his due diligence and save face.

    The Kupchak bit is being reported by Broussard who is nothing more then an ambulance chaser. Pretty sure Lebron is safe as a bet to go back to Miami....

    Thats something Id be completely ok with. one second Mike Wallace, Jarvis Landry, Brian Hartline, Lamar Miller are our primary options...Riley would arrive with Andre Johnson, Julio Jones, Victor Cruz and Adrian Peterson. Id be totally ok with that if it were for the Phins. :lol:

    I will say that younger (or fully healthy and explosive) Wade is just as good offensively. However now...not so much. Not a knock on Wade because he still has a great offensive game.
