We will move on. Not whining, just sharing what I know. As I said in club level...if you don't want to be here that is fine. Just don't string people along
You ever see the interview Mo Williams gave after Bron left? He def has a snark side, a villain side much like A-Rod he just doesn't give a **** what anybody thinks.....you got to remember these guys the ones you were truly TOP of their collective sport for years are like that...
Advice to Cleveland. Don't fall in love. If there's an opt out in that contract it will be exercised and you will do this again. It will always be something with LeBron. You'll be walking on egg shells
Can't help but wonder what's next, post-LeBron. Guess we'll now find out how good of a coach Spo really is.
I would've thought the same if it wasn't for the SI piece. He has a very mature perspective on this. Surprisingly so.
I dont think lebron forgives gilbert i think he just doesnt care and wants to play at home. I do wonder if him and gilbert bump heads on something down the road how hes going to take it though.
To repeat what so many posters said earlier in this thread...much of the noise of the last week or two was not his doing. It was the media's. The guy was a free agent deciding which team to play for, and judging by what he wrote it was a very difficult decision. Free agency happens, like, every year. Yea this strikes me as a "personal stuff first...figure everything else out later" kind of move. His priorities were not solely work-related. Props to him for understanding that and acting on it.
Not really. The guy is a HOFer without a doubt and a great all time player but right now no team would give him a max contract. Bosh got a max offer.....no one even sniffed around Wade with a max offer. Granted everyone knows that he wants to stay in Miami, but if he were still a great player without injury/durability concerns someone would have offered him a max deal without a doubt.
I'm not bitter. I'm also not completely buying that Hallmark caliber essay. Like I said, it was a great ride, great fun, but I don't have to be happy about the decision. And now he really doesn't matter. I just care about what the Heat do
They won't bump heads. Gilbert has two years "reconcile" the attitude of the last 4 (yeah that letter was up on the site still, until last week).
Ira reporting that CB has not made a decision Come on Chris, you don't need to quit on us. We can be a good team
Wade in his prime. Just saying. Is he really a coach trying to be on Pop's level? Or does he become just another one of these jokers.
This IS Pat Riley. I wouldn't put it past him to scramble and come up with a Big 3 involving Bosh, Wade and Melo.
I know it seems like that, but I can guarantee if you knew some of the things that actually went down you'd change tune. Again...wait for Section.
He needs to build a legacy soon. He'd be dumb not to consider it. Go down as the guy who took James place and win titles. Would be like Drexler going to Chicago and winning if Jordan had left after a couple titles.
Ehhhhh, if he believes in Phil he can just stay in NY. The call will be made, just depends on what Melo thinks. Don't know how he views Wade.
Is there any chance in the world that Chicago offers Wade a contract to go home? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I guarantee you Riley will reach out to him. No one can offer more money so he'd have to feel compelled that The Heat offer the best chance of winning.
Your not getting Melo, Bosh will be a Rocket. D Wade may say fuggit n roll to Chicago Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Lol. That would be effing nuts. Pretty sure Wade stays in Miami...but this would be sweet. Talk about upheaval throughout the Eastern Conference.
I doubt it myself but you have to be careful that you don't fall victim to the same thing that just happened with Lebron. You know at the very least Riley is giving him a phone call.
