And in a completely unrelated note see him make the All Star team and end the year with 40 saves and a sub 2.50 ERA?

 

Oh you absolutely have to take a look at him. Especially since he is about 30 minutes from St Pete. I played and caught Chris from about 13-16.

It has all of the important dates/deadlines for this off season. The first important date is Monday, when teams have to decide to give QO to FAs.

 

I think he would be a complete disaster personality wise there.

 

Should be interesting to see who's going to overpay for Brian McCann. I love the guy but paying a catcher over 30 a lot of money is risky.

Yeah I'm surprised TB picked up the option too. I wonder if DeJesus will end up signing a mult-year deal with a cheaper AAV. Maybe a 2 year deal for 8 or 9 million, something like that.

 

Good call. I heard they wanted him back for multiple years. But wasn't sure it would happen.

 

Wonder if the DeJesus signing marks the end of the Matt Joyce in TB Era, as both guys are LHH platoon players but DeJesus at least gives you defense and speed.
