D Wade if he turns the clock back to 2006, which is probably what it will take to beat SA or GS in the Finals if Miami makes it.

Charlotte bouncing back really well from game 1. Clifford tweaks have been pretty effective. Al is just eating.

    And refs, naturally...

Holy crap, what if the Heat shoots above 60% through out the playoffs? We are talking about championship. Lebron and KD will join us next year and we're talking about six peat. Lebron will finally claim goat from MJ.

Just...wow. Who is this team, with the shooting? Love the rest for the vets too; makes a noticeable difference, imo. Batum missing some time would be huge.

Nice thing is Indiana will likely force a game 6. Got to finish this series quick. Take at least one in charlotte and finish in game 5, but a sweep would be wonderful

Wasnt long ago when we complained about three point shooting and we were hoping to trade for Casspi to sokve that problem.. Then after the all star break, Spo completely changes the pace, he gives minutes to J Rich, Riley got Joe to come here, and our three point shooting is suddenly a threat opponents are aware of combined with our finishing ability in the paint. This team is complete as far as not having a glaring weak area, but is it championship caliber.. Thats a huge question mark.. We will see in Round 2.

Am I wrong thinking this Heat team since Joe Johnson joined reminds me a whole lot of the Spurs teams we played in the Finals two years in a row?

I mean, we're that one freaky Lakers game away from being a 73% winning team since Johnson joined. The Spurs were a 71% team when we beat them in the Finals and a 76% team when we lost to them.

If we had Bosh right now...we're those teams. That's how I see it.

Bosh might want to come back thinking we can win a ring.

Some tell him to drop the drugs and put him on a raw vegan diet.

Well a Cleveland-Miami series is certainly looking interesting right now. Cleveland has been letting Detroit hang around in games, they won't be able to do that with Miami.

Actually, you know who this team reminds me of, the 10/11 Mavs that scorched the Western Conf. and beat the Heat. They had a better reg. season record, but were also the 3rd seed and got unimaginably hot in the playoffs. I think they also play similarly with the big C surrounded by perimeter players.

Hopefully a similar end is in store.

I think you can say they look quite a bit like the Spurs team in 2013. I don't think they have someone like 2014 Kawhi Leonard, though.

Reports that Batum is out the rest of the series.

The Hornets say they will have a formal update tonight

Also, Wizards hire Scott Brooks. Maybe they think it helps in Durant chase

Well I don't have much hope in the Durant sweepstakes but I do like Brooks regardless. He's much better than any coach we've had their in ages. I think we will improve regardless.

Might be time to break out the brooms with Batum sidelined. Their offensive attack is a whole lot simpler without him as another initiator.

Looks like it'll be Toronto should we finish off Charlotte.

I dont think anyone should have any hope for Durant. Seriously doibt he leaves. Al Horford would fit nicely with your team though.

One observation rewatching the game last night, there's about 8 *******s on the Rockets that need to be let go. lol Keep Brewer, Monteijunas, and Harden, and Sam Dekker.. everyone else needs to be let go. That's another team that can benefit with Al Horford.

Totally agree on this team needs to be destroyed. Keep Harden, Beasley, and Capela. Everyone else has been pathetic all year. Its a miracle they even made it this far with these scrubs and possibly the worst coach I've ever seen in my life (he makes McHale look like Popovich...smh)

Lebron is so passive this whole series. I just see him waiting in the background offensively. Hes doing other things like rebounds and some nice passes, but the offense is not going through him.

Hesitant to speak of sweeps without winning a single game on their court. Not yet, anyway.

I think he's doing a good job of facilitating for Irving, Love, etc. and picking his spots. I don't think it's in his or Cleveland's best interest for Lebron to be dominating the ball. Against a better opponent he may have to be more aggressive, but at this stage I think he's best served by helping everybody else build their numbers and confidence.
