Hayward really did choose the right team. They make really good team decisions.

He just signed a 4 year extension with no option years last season, didn't he?

Next offseason will be the likes of Paul George, Russ Westbrook, Chris Paul, Melo, and Boogie. LeBron and Durant can also opt out.

He's signed for 3 more years though...does he have any opt out?

I absolutely think he may be next in line to join the top 5 in the league...right now that's Lebron, Curry KD Kawhi and Westbrook imo. I could easily see him knocking one out of there.....

If Woj say it, I believe it.

"Milwaukee's going to go through this with the Greek Freak. That day's coming, right? Where he's going to look and say, 'Where is this organization? What are they doing here?' Like, you don't think Giannis has been watching what went on there for the last several months? Of what they allowed to go on with the front office? He's watching it. And the clock has started. Everybody in the league is trying to figure out how they are going to get him out of there. That has started."

He doesn't have an opt out in his extension from what I can see on Sportrac and Basketball Reference, so a trade is the only way to get him until 2021.

Enjoy every game these next 4 years with him, because he's hitting the market when he's 28.

I wonder if New Orleans could trade Boogie to someone and get more back than they paid for him.

Did Bam seriously go 1-10 and still get 13 points? I thought at first that's a ****ty game, but that's pretty damn impressive to get to the line like that.

AD and Boogie are going to bring a championship to New Orleans. We're zigging while everyone else is zagging.

Giannis signed an extension in September. I forgot. Spotrac didn't update it.

So he is a 2020 watch list guy.

You need some defensive minded wings for that to happen. And the miracle of health for Jrue. And lastly a bench. Then you're in the mix.

He did it all at the foul line. It's nice to see him get to the line, but it was a bad game for him overall. He was just off. He didn't look like the same player he was in the first 3 games. It's fine. I kind of expected him to have a letdown game after his explosion last time out.

Section, do you think it's JJ, Babbitt, and maybe a cheap flyer to finish free agency?

looks that way, although it seems that cutting Ellington and putting him into the Exception money is in the cards.

If they do that, they should have the money to get Gay, no? Or does he want too many years?

I can only really recall him being right about a handful of things. Most of the stuff he spews is just verbal diarrhea. One of the more annoying media personalities imo.

Having another big that can draw fouls like that and hit fts at a good percentage is awesome. Hassan and Bam can put team's big men in foul trouble and feast.

Word was that OKC was out when they signed Patterson. Most of the latest says Utah and Miami are the two most likely. I guess that could change, though.

Boogie is trade bait for the deadline. It's easier for NO to flip him into long-term assets and make a run after KD leaves GSW.

Miami has faced some really bad luck the past two seasons. Whiteside's injury against Toronto and our in-season injuries have been problematic. Making the playoffs last season alone and presumably making it to the second round would have at least made us more attractive. We'd have been an ECF participant the year before without the HW injury.

That's a move out of left field. You would think that means JJ isn't coming back, but supposedly he still is coming, but Ellington might not be.

There is also a rumor of a deal with Dallas in an order to shed salary. I'm assuming that's McBob and a sweetener, and I'm really hoping it's not Winslow. It could also be something involving TJ, which I'd be fine with, ideally with us getting something ok back (even a pick).

And here's Woj on the matter. I really hope they're not giving up real value just to move him, just to afford JJ and Olynyck.

If this is really the entire deal, Riley is a freaking wizard. No one thought we'd be able to move McBob's deal basically for free.

The complaining amongst Heat fans on Twitter right now is so ridiculous. It reminds me a lot of the complaining last year when they signed Waiters, JJ, and Ellington.

Well, that sounds amazing. Is there more upside with him? Or is he tapped out amongst the opinions here?
