Embiid must of been a steal.. he’s #6 overall in my league... (in Fantasy Points Per Game) Side note: fantasy basketball is awesome, I started 3 years ago and fell in love (I won the championship the first year) instantly. I sometimes wonder if I like it better then football (in regards to fantasy)
I think I got him in the 4th or 5th. Yeah it’s fun, you just have to be on your **** with setting lineups.
I like it I’m just obsessed with fantasy football and sometimes forget to set my basketball lineup. Still 6-2. Btw the morons Stephen A and Max are talking about Lebron joining Lavar jr next year in LA. Why the hell would Lebron do that? If anything, he should go to Houston and carry Harden and CP3.
Houston seems like a real possibility, I don’t get this “LeBron to L.A.” thing either... am I missing something? I thought he was still trying to win titles after Cleveland...
Coulda told that would work...2 great shooting bigs and the best pure Pg in the league who has been a top 3 Fantasy player for most of the last decade.
Not gonna lie, I didnt think CP3 and Harden would be a good fit so they are currently serving me some cold hard crow for dinner. They look like the best team out of all the teams that made “major” moves this offseason. CP3 and LeBron are best friends. CP3 puts in a GREAT word for Harden this offseason to LeBron (letting him know who Harden the teammate is.... we all know how good Harden the player is) LeBron signs in Houston and wins a few titles to end his or career... Or In philly... ok ok I’ll stop lol
I took Anthony Davis in the 1st. It’s a good lineup for my first draft. I just wish there was more money on the line to make it more interesting.
CP3 being there is the main reason (besides Houston being very good) I think Lebron could go there. Also not a rival of Cleveland. I wouldn’t hate Lebron on the rockets. I like Harden. I just want the warriors to go down. I can’t stand draymond green.
I ultimately think LeBron stays in Cleveland. Besides, Houston would have to shed Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon, and PJ Tucker to make it work. Plus, either CP3 or LeBron would have to take a discount. I would want LeBron, but that is giving up a lot.
I got James Harden with the 3rd pick, I’m 3-5, due to Kawhi (2nd round) not playing till this week and injuries to D’Angelo Russell and Mike Conley hurt me bad.. (we only have 1 IR spot)
Rockets up by 21 points on the Spurs with 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. I've lost count of how many steals CP3 has. He is not f'n around tonight, lol.
Rockets up 20 on the Spurs with 1 minute left. 23-4 13-0 with CP3 So, that is wins over Warriors, Cavs, and Spurs. Waiting for Celtics. Now comes the back-to-back against the Bucks. That one might end our streak. Since Moute is out for 3 weeks, continuing to win with the 8 man lineup is going to be tough.
Somehow the Rockets have tied the game at the half. NeNe is doing his best to carry the load. The old man has 16 points at the half. Way to go!! CP3 is struggling (2 points) and Harden is playing thru the bad calf. My only issue with Dantoni is that he will not use our depth. A 7-man rotation tonight is ridiculous, especially since they just played last night. Zhou Qui and Troy Williams should be getting minutes. What the is the problem???
Getting hard to defend Melo these day's. After watching him last night and tonight he really is just nothing more than a good one on one scorer. The proof is evident. Maybe Phil was doing a better job than people thought, this team suffered because of Melo.
Unless something dramatic changes, i dont see OKC doing much in the playoffs. Those three arent fitting well together. Three iso guys.
24-4 14-0 with CP3 No quit. Shoutout to Harden...2nd fastest in NBA history to make 1500 three pointers. Meanwhile, the fraud mvp...well, u get the point by now.
I been saying this. The guy has never been a winner in the NBA. Hes always been an isolation player which is one way of playing basketball if you have a hard time playing with teammates lmao It’s no surprise to see New York be so much better through the eye test and through stats. In OKC, PG13 and Russ can work, but they need to get Melo out of there and let him play on some scrub team that will let him do his iso’s. Seriously. And he don’t play defense. Why NYK fans ever miss him is beyond me, KP will be the superstar NYK fans deserved when Melo was there but Melo never actually was, just in the opinions of fans he was.
Rockets were down by 8 points to start the 4th quarter (4th game in 5 days). THEN, Eric Gordon drops like 6 straight threes and Clint Capela (24 pts, 20 rebs) turned in Hakeem Olajuwon. Rockets end up winning by 21 points...lol 25-4 15-0 with CP3
Hes not aging well. The idea that he should be a 6th man somewhere next year isnt crazy on a good team. That said, I just think a large part of the problem with Melo is the same one Oladipo had last year and that is Westbrook is an extreme ball dominant player. Now you add Paul George to the mix who needs his shots and Anthony and you have....this clustermess OKC is throwing out there every game. They dont compliment each other, they are clones of each other in terms of style of play. Melo and PG need pass first Pg like a CP3 or a Kyle Lowry, guys who dont need to score 30 to be effective. This is the argument ive always made against westbrook and any score first PG....they can take good players and make them less effective. Thats part of whats happening.
Nail biter win for Heat against Kyrie and the Celtics. Kelly Olynyk went off for 32. Would be nice to see more of that.
Shutout to Mike Dantoni. Your stubbornness just ended our streak and may have cost us the season. I've been saying how dumb it was to continue playing 7 & 8-man rotations. Now, u got Capela hurt and CP3 may be out for another month or more by hurting the same knee as earlier in the season. Harden has been playing heavy minutes on with a bum leg for the last 2 weeks. 33 yr old, Ariza is averaging 42 minutes per game the last 4 games. Dantoni is a great coach, but this was just stupid and so unnecessary. Maybe we'll only have a 5-man lineup next game...smh
It was less d Antoni, and more that you ran into the well oiled machine that is Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma. Harden was just no match.
I think you mean Kyle Kuzma and Corey Brewer. Gotta give Brewer credit, he dropped damn near 25 points. Lonzo did great too...he held a one-legged Harden to 51 points and 9 assists. You could tell Harden was hurting, he usually scores about 80 points a game against the Lakers. Need to just sit our top 6 guys next game for rest, and let our G league play the Clippers. We'd still be in first place with a loss, so I don't care. Give our guys a break...sheesh
Sixers been taking L’s at will... maybe we decided we need at least one more top 3 pick... #tankingseason lmao jk but it’s been bad...
Michael Beasley's Knicks are a playoff team. Let the man play. I'm happy for that guy. Rockets should have never let him go...smh
