It would be very typical for them to go out and beat the Warrios to get things turned around. If they lose big, though, that locker room could be chaos.

I will be at that game with my daughter, so don't count on it.

My career record of sporting events attended where the team I'm hoping to win, is like 4-10

For me, the crappier teams I follow tend to win, and the good teams tend to lose when I'm there. The Marlins, somehow, always seem to win when I'm there, and the Heat, who have been by far the best team I follow during my lifetime, seem to always lose. The only game I've seen the Heat play this year was when I was in town for the holidays and watched them get blown out by the Nets. Undoubtedly their worst effort of the year so far. The Dolphins are like 50/50.

Great win today, 4th in the East. With the Cavs upcoming schedule including GSW, San Antonio, OKC, Houston, Detroit x2, Indiana again, and Minnesota, Miami could very likely leave January as the 3rd seed.

Every time I get resolute on wanting the front office to change the lineup, this team makes it difficult. The charming aspect of a bunch of reclamation projects and non-stars makes it difficult to want to break it up. The only real way to take the next step without breaking up the team is for Miami to go against recent trends and hit a home run in the draft.

We had that homerun on our laps and got Justise Winslow instead. If Devin booker was in this team, wow.

Or Donovan Mitchell. I wonder if there were rumors of the heat taking Donovan in league circles. The jazz had to of thought so to jump right in front of us for him, the douche bags.

Hard to argue with Bam. He is an amazing talent. There isn't really anything he can't learn to do in the long term. He will allow amazing front court flexibility (and in fact already does).

    Now Winslow...yeah.

Certainly can look back now and say we should’ve taken the Boston trade. I think we still would’ve missed out on Booker in that scenario and since one of he first round picks would have almost assuredly been J-Eich who nobody had heard of at the time, it would’ve been apocalyptic.

So it’s hard to say. Winslow was such an obvious choice but you kind of wish our scouts had pushed for Booker. Riley didn’t care. He said he basically gave Spo and Kammerer the choice of Winslow or he picks and they chose Winslow

It would suck if Miami loses its momentum against Chicago. James Johnson is in a little slump of late it seems and the 3 point woes continue. Outside of Ellington and Richardson, no one has much consistency on what they do behind the line. ck was really disappointed we lost Babbitt, and although I think we're better overall as currently constructed (Olynyk wouldn't be here if we re-signed Babbitt), we definitely miss what is basically elite 3-point shooting. Shocking, I know /s.

Dantoni says Blake Griffin hit him during the game. I didn't see it. But, there was so much craziness going on, I don't know what happened. The Rockets went to the Clippers locker room after the game to beat Blake's a##. Sounds like they got in there. According to reporters, security and police had to break it up, lol.

Im just ready for Harden to come back.

Edit: Woj is saying Harden, Ariza, and Gerald Green blitzed the Clipper locker room to beat up Austin Rivers, lol.

Apparently they went through a secret hallway or some ****. Chris Paul went as well and probably led them with his knowledge of the stadium. You can’t make this up.

What were they trying to do, jump a boot wearing Austin Rivers? Lol. I wish they’d just put on 4 oz gloves and go at it.

Twitter was on fire last night with jokes and memes. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Patrick Beverley was on Twitter saying LA is no longer soft, lol. I still don't know what happened. I enjoyed it, though.

The best version I saw was from a Clippers beatwriter. He says the Rockets planned the attack. They had the Clippers locker room surrounded. Capela was at the front entrance, knocking on the door. He was the diversion. Ariza, Harden, Green, and Tarik Black were trying to come thru another door. And, Chris Paul had the rest of the Rockets coming thru some secret passage, lol.

The visual in my mind still has me cracking up.

That is hilarious, but let's be clear. While the Clippers look bad, it isn't like it is a good look for the Rockets. So bad.

I disagree. As Shannon SShape said a few minutes ago, "If LeBron wasn't considering Houston next year, he definitely is this morning." This is team unity. Hit our coach and be disrespectful...we come knocking at your door.

We'll see, I don't agree. You need the enforcer and he does that. You could be right, I thought the punch on the coach wasn't confirmed. If it is, that changes things. I think Dantoni is exaggerating.

Of all the reports I read, the Houston players didn't have any real interest in actually doing anything, they just wanted to look like tough guys. And that sounds about right to me.

Two fake *** tough guy teams wanna throw down? Aww ain’t that cute?!?! Somewhere Anthony Mason is rolling in his grave :headscratch:

FWIW, if it actually did happen, DeAndre Jordan would probably be the last one standing.

Yeah, I heard Stephen A Smith say that. The only way I would give up Capela for him is if Ryan Anderson's contract goes with him. I would hate it though. He has made so much progress. That would be a hard one for Morey. He loves Clint. Hell, for what Ryan Anderson is giving us, we could bring back my guy Kyle Wiltjer. He's more automatic from three than Ryan anyway + 19 mil cheaper.

No one is scared of Pat, lol. If anything, they are all scared of Ariza. It finally came out that Trevor ignited it all. That doesn't shock anyone who knows about his history.

Also, NeNe would probably murder them all. The guy is built like a damn rock and has that old man strength, lol.

You’d prob need to throw in either a 1st or multiple 2’s to sweeten it since they’re not getting cap relief.

James Johnson would have handled it by himself if those Houston / LA sissys came knocking.

What was the plan for when they got into the locker room? Fight an entire team and staff? Or bark like they do on the court knowing it'll be broken up immediately anyway?

You only need an enforcer when the rest of your team is soft as hell. I prefer my entire team show some fight, which is what they did.

You are hyper defensive of your team. You will be let down once again come playoffs. Paul and Harden are serial losers.
