Winslow and Wade left the game with injuries.

I remember when Wade was supposed to mentor Winslow. That eurostep should have been something.

Spo says winslow and wade are both fine.

This team is coming together and peaking at just the right time.

I need the Heat to beat the Blazers tonight. Make it happen. Thanks.

Nurkic feasted last night. That's the kind of game I expected him to put up every so often when I pegged him for MIP. Bam still isn't ready for prime time, which is fine.

Helps when the Heat rest Whiteside and Wade. No help from you jerks!

Deangelo is still just 22 years old, pretty sure he is a future all star someday, just not an early bloomer.. steph wasnt lighting the world on fire his first few seasons.

We need to get into the 6th seed or the 1st round is gonna suck. Toronto is like 28-5 at home. We Could jump Milwaukee tonight..they’re down to the magic. I sense a big win tonight vs sac town.

Dragic was red hot. Hope Atlanata beats Milwaukee tonight so that Heat can move up one spot.

Rockets are such a punk team. I’m so glad my favorite team doesn’t ***** and moan and cry for fouls as their offensive philosophy. What a completely unsatisfying brand of basketball. I hope the Warriors crush them in the playoffs.

It is amazing how they are actually more unlikable than the superteam with the deserter Benidurant Arnold.

It’s true. GSW are pretty hateable too. But i at least respect their GAME.

GSW sucks because of off-the-court stuff, i.e. the whole super team thing and adding KD to a 73 win team. Houston has some fun guys like Ariza and Gordon, but their stars are soft and they employ the league leader by a mile on drawing fouls. It's being written about now actually:

Much better defense today. Comfortable win.

I feel compelled to note that Winslow's offense has become competent. I could see Miami trying to retain him on a reasonable contract for his defense. Prior to this stretch, I was sure he'd be gone next season.

I don't trust it yet, too small a sample.

  28. CaribPhin

We paid a bunch of players based on half a season or less. I think they'll want to retain him if the price is right just based on familiarity.

The other players on the Spurs apparently don't like Kawhi for staying out. He reportedly doesn't give a ****. He and John Wall are both now disliked in their locker rooms. If Pat can figure some **** out, he'd be THE God rather than merely an Elder God.

So he wants to sit out and fully heal, while the old guys want him to play because they may not have many seasons left to contend?

I gotta take kawhis side here. I hope this blows up even more for them.

The issue is he is playing 3 on 3 and is always the best guy in these practices, and the players feel he is in better condition than most of them.

I think he is gone in the offseason. The spurs will get a kings ransom for him. I also think If he leaves, then next year is Popovich’s last year.

Ginobili is on his way to retirement, Tony is as well, i think Popovich would have kept going if his franchise player were to be around, but without him there’s no real reason to continue, Popovich has nothing left to prove. He can take a GM/President role and look over basketball operations.

I'd trade Whiteside, TJ, and the 2019 first for Leonard. I'd trade more in addition, but that's just where I'd set the market. If we could get rid of the last two years of TJ's deal, that would be great. I feel like any trade Miami tries would have a request for Richardson, but I'd try to figure out a way around letting him go.

Oh, and btw, everyone who was on the Kemba train should feel pretty good about it. I wasn't of the opinion that he would be a big enough difference maker, but damn did he go off last night.

The last one he gave a huge shout out to J.Rich. Basically called him our glue for his defensive versatility on 1-4 and his offensive competence. Miami has a couple of guys that the game film and advance stats wonks love.

D’Angelo Russell recorded his first triple double of his NBA career.... that’s cute... Ben Simmons is on his 10th in his rookie year.
