In them I trust but that John Wall contract looks like a pretty significant negative.

Jalen Rose says he's 99% certain Kawhi returns to Toronto. That opens up the Lakers as a potential Dragic destination.

So the Knicks had a scheduled meeting with Kawhi, but they canceled it due to fear of missing out on the free agents they signed.

I hate to say it this way but they were 4th team that was going to meet with Kawhi. While id rather have 1 Kawhi then everything else they signed, would you really give it more then like a .2% chance he was going to sign there without KD or Kyrie or even Butler or Kemba? I dont think so. The meeting from everything ive read was more of a courtesy to Kawhis uncle who knows Steve Mills for more then 15 years apparently. Good to Mills has been good for something i guess... :/

Please. Nobody can be 99% on anything about a Kawhi Leonard. Not even Kawhi Leonard.

He’s just going to show up at some team’s practice and want to suit up.

He keeps missing that floater off the glass. If he can get consistent with that he'll be tough to defend.

He’s gonna have to because he’ll probably have a hard time driving to the rim with his arms.

I don’t see how you can watch the 4th quarter last night and not be excited. He’s got the juice.

    Dudes, Dolphins fans, listen close:

When AD demanded a trade, I told my wife that I may never root for an athlete that talented for the rest of my life. The pelicans certainly wouldn’t be able to get a guy that good again. And the DOLPHINS, my deepest love? You gotta be kidding me. I had Marino as a kid and there will never be another one greater. That was my shot. But this Zion guy.....

WOW, the clippers have traded four unprotected first round picks, one protected first round pick, danilo gallinari for Paul George..

The clippers are the winners of the Kawhi sweepstakes. Everyone kept saying the Clippers are out, as i said before Kawhi is the most unpredictable guy there is. This was all his writing, he orchestrated all of this and it was all a secret until now

This is perfect for us petty heat fans. The raptors lose Kawhi, **** the raptors. Lebron and AD lose out on their dream super team, **** Lebron. Kawhi goes back west.

This will be a great year to watch the nba.

Even for non-petty Heat fans this was the best case scenario. He's out of the East, and doesn't create an unbeatable super-team. And the Lakers will now probably go after Dragic. It also means, the best teams are now 2-star teams, not 3-star teams. That puts the Heat one star away from being a contender.

Man goes to show Kawhi is built differently than Lebron... lebron was sold with the big3 idea by Riley, it was all fun and good here then he went on to crreate that again in the Cavaliers, then attempted to do the same in the Lakers. I kept asking myself , why cant Lebron win with just one more superstar, why does he always need a third star? Always the easy way.. well now it wont be easy, the lakers went from possibly becoming unbeatable to second best team in LA. And probably no better than a 6th seed in the West..

I brought up the 2 star point recently. Now Miami is 1 star away from being on that level. Or......

Miami can go hard in 2021 and add 2 stars and long dick the league again.

Westbrick must feel like crap. I can see OKC flipping some of those picks into Beal.

I am always baffled at the teams assembled around lebron james...

In miami we were able to put pieces that seem to fit... but everywhere else he’s been in, i dont see how any of those players fit.

Look at the players Pelinka just signed to play alongside AD and lebron... are we sure AD is gonna sign longterm in LA... cause they just signed some expensive scrubs.... Why would you sign Danny Green for that much when Korver is available for the vet minimum... why would you bring back Javale McGee or Kentavious, they both suck, like really suck... they wanna bring back Rondo..

Theyre talking about bringing in Jr Smith when he gets bought out... I mean there were cleveland teams more talented than this current team the Lakers are putting together... and the cleveland teams never once fit, it took Kyrie getting hot and some GS players getting suspended and injured for them to take it in 7...

I dont think Pelinka knows what he is doing, AD was brought in thanks to Lebron, but the Lakers need to be able to figure out the rest...

The coaching staff looks like a giant cluster****... we will see i guess but there is a big gap between the clippers and lakers now and the lakers have lebron and AD and theyre still way behind ...

    Random thought

Westbrick and Kevin Love were college teammates. Maybe OKC flips a few assets to the Cavs for Love.

I doubt Presti makes anymore moves... they just took a few steps back from the championship goal.. its time for him to rebuild the team especially when you have all those picks... theyre in complete rebuild now...

but how many teams out there are willing to absorb that contract? Those supermax contracts are poisonous..

Westbrooks contract is mirror to John Wall

    19-20: $38.51 million
    20-21: $41.36 million
    21-22: $44.21 million
    22-23: $47.06 million

Pass..... as i said before, there are only a handful of players in the league that is worth the supermax... four of them play in LA now... one of them is in Portland and one is in Golden state... durant on a bad ankle aint worth it... and obviously you can give giannis and harden that kind of money..
