Eh not horrible, not great. I think you'll have to sub Ronnie with Maroney for awhile and who knows if either of them will have huge numbers. (hopefully RB will as the season progresses)

Lacking a real number 1 at WR and TE.

    I like McNabb and Russel.

Overall, I think your just lacking superstars, aside from LT.

I think I have a decent eye for talent and I can see Ginn and Jackson having huge seasons. Bowe had 900 sum yards as a rook on a crappy team. Cotchery and Coles numbers will go up too IMO.I also see In my crystal ball the NE will run more this season. Thats just the way I looked at it when I was drafting. I can see what you are saying about lack of superstars though. Just keep an eye on some of these guys.

QBs- Grade-A Romo is a top 5 qb and it doesnt hurt that you have a solid back up in Rivers.
RBs Grade B+ Good depth there with fred taylor as a back up
WRs Grade C I like Bowe (Obvious reasons...on my team) Galloway is capable of good things Hester eh ok has some upside but im not fan of Reggie Williams and Gaffney.
TEs Grade A+ With Winslow being my favorite to be the #1 Te this year and Lee is a nice back up with good but not great numbers perhaps Rogers will use him more than Fare was last year.

Thats it from me I just wanted to grade the main areas

Damn, nice draft. Only thing I don't like is Walker and Stallworth, but Mason might be able to crack your starting line up.

I don't like Walker and Stallworth either. Walker was the best receiver available when I NEEDED to pick a third WR, and Stallworth was likewise the best WR available when I needed to fill out my bench.

Walker is at least very talented and the unquestioned #1 WR on that Raiders team. If he stays healthy, he'll produce. Stallworth is just a fill-in.

Start Seattle's defense over Baltimore's. Patrick Kerney, Lofa Tatupu, and Marcus Trufant combining in that weak division is a dream.

Get someone else besides Russell to be your backup. Anyone.

You'll have trouble at WR. I'd see what else is out there in FA.

Solid. Certainly could use a backup TE instead of Mason somewhere down the line.

    Not bad but lol@Crotchery.

Depends on what happens. Gates' bye isn't until Week 9 or so: I have plenty of time to see how Mason and Stallworth pan out. (Or I could get a trade going to a WR-poor team, but who knows.) I don't consider backup TE a high priority.

I'd be weary if his injured toe acts up. Down the stretch last season he was getting few receptions and yards as a result of injury I believe.

I'm not worried about the toe. Even if he's not 100%, he's running on it. Jonathan Stewart isn't exactly hobbled by his toe either, so there's hope.

Besides, Witten was gone and the only other TE worthy of the pick in that spot is Kellen Winslow, but he's allergic to TDs. (Plus Anderson's status after that concussion is still iffy.)

There are no less than 4 TEs in free agency that will likely remain there and that I wouldn't mind picking up if Gates goes down. I'll be fine, with the caveat that the one guy I was hoping would make it to free agency--Zach Miller--did not.

Darren Sproles just became a free agent in this league. It's too bad I'm absolutely stocked at RB; he'd be a great handcuff pick. :wink2:

I think the TE situation in this league is different from the one in yours. :wink2:

Ideally, I'd like to trade Williams or Forte after a couple of weeks to a guy who needs RB help, and get a #2 receiver in return. I'd waive Stallworth and pick up a backup TE that way.

    12 teams. PPR. 4th pick.

QB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, K, DEF

    QB - C. Palmer - Round 5
    RB - S. Jackson - Round 1
    WR - TJ Houshmandzadeh - Round 2
    WR - T. Holt - Round 3
    TE - D. Clark - Round 4

There were 4 QBs taken in the first round. I was laughing because I knew Palmer and Hasselbeck would be there waiting for me in the 5th. And they were. I didnt want to take a TE so early, but some douchebag took Shockey in the late 3rd and set off a huge run on TE. Gates, Winslow, Witten, Gonzalez, and Clark all went back to back. I feel bad for the guys that missed out on that run. I barely caught the end of it.

I won this league last year, and plan on doing it again this year.

Rudi Johnson is a waste of a pick. Drop him for Chris Perry, or see if you can trade him to an idiot for someone like DeAngelo Williams.

Would you guys trade cotchery(whom I have) for Turner? Ive been on the fence for the last week about this one. my team is in the first post of the thread. I have Maroney R.Brown and Tomlinson there already. I think Cotchery will have a nice season.

So is it safe to say that Slaton is the better of the Slaton/Taylor duo in Hou?

He came back to practice on monday and is reported to be sharing carries with Taylor in week 1 as they ease Ahman Green back. I need to drop Taylor somewhat soon if hes the loser.

i basically ended up in the worst draft position in my strangely arranged 12 team keeper league and ended up banking on the young receivers to blossom...
    Starters:
    QB - Roethlisberger
    RBs - Gore, Jamal Lewis
WRs - Calvin Johnson, Dwayne Bowe
    WR/TE Flex - Chris Chambers
    TE - Todd Heap
    K - Phil Dawson
    Def - Seattle

    Bench:
    Sidney Rice - WR
    Ted Ginn - WR
    Edgerrin James - RB
    Deshaun Foster - RB
    Alge Crumpler - TE
Tavaris Jackson - QB (Is playing Detroit the week of Big Ben's bye)

so i'm heavily relying on the 2nd year WRs to step it up big for me...

Indeed watch out for Hightower to steal carries away from Edge. I would def trade edge for some a solid WR.
