Panthers are going to be good for the next five years. Need a couple of pure scorers. But damn good team. After losing all the breaks against the caps and penguins in playoffs prior we finally got all the breaks against the panthers. 3-0 in overtimes could have easily gone the other way. This will be a good lesson for such a young team like the panthers. They will come back much tougher next year I bet

Don't be so sure. The bolts have had 5 days rest while the islanders coming off 2 double ot games and another ot game. Fresh legs for Tampa. And they didn't need stamkos to get by Detroit. #gobolts

We're a lot better than Detroit. The rest helps but Tampa has a tough time with tight checking teams. If Tampa wins it will be because of bishop playing lights out

No, Tampa won because besides Tavares no one on our team likes scoring playoff goals vs Tampa. We had no offense. Not happy they havent even spoken to KO yet about resigning. They need to ship out Kulemin and Grabovski for a steaming hot pile of poop and clear out that 9M and drop a 7 year 70m offer for Stamkos. Then resign Okposo and/or Nielsen and Martin. We need to get at least 2 top 6 forwards (if KO leaves) or 1 2nd line C because Grabo is not the answer and Nielsen is really a 3rd line guy imo.
What is exciting, is that Dal Colle(LW), Beauvillier (LW), Ho Sang (RW), Barzal (C), Sorokin (G), Soderstrom (G), and Vande Sompel (D) should all be ready within the next 2 years. The prospect pool is deep but not ready for prime time next year in prominent roles. Maybe Barzal. Hes progressing really nicely but I wouldnt count on him for more then a 3rd line role. I like that we will probably get a full season of Pulock next year as Zidlicky looks to be gone. Pulock has the ability to be a top pairing D man and his thundering shot could really help out PP and offensive zone presence. A guy I thought we missed in that Tampa series was Anders Lee. Hes a hulk in front of the net and we needed someone to get some ugly goals since no one else really seemed willing to do it.
