UNC, Lousville, Pitt and Memphis

off topic real quick, do you think Brandon Morrow is gonna be the closer or SP? im asking because i just drafted him in a fantasy draft last night

 

UNC, The Ville, Pitt and...let's say Memphis, even though I think UConn would beat them.

I particularly look forward to Dick Vitale *****ing about at least 5 teams not making it, and offering absolutely no argument as to who should be out. I swear, if it were up to him, the NCAA tourney would have about 78 teams.

 

Last teams out will be Zona and PSU. St. Mary's squeaks in.

 

Louisville is overall #1. Hard to argue with that.

If the Cuse is playing on Thursday, I'm going to be pissed. They deserve a Friday date after all the minutes they played.

I think that's fair. Put UConn and Memphis on the floor together and UConn beats them 7 out of 10 times.

 

Can't stand UNC. Cuse is my #1, Duke my #2. And sorry to say, but Davidson's not getting there.

God, Louisville is getting a sweet draw. There's no one there who can hang with them so far. MSU should be a 3 seed, not a 2.

 

Oh, I take it back. Kansas in the bracket as a 3. Well, at least someone will give Louisville a game.

 

Miss St just a 13? They just won the SEC tournament, that's kind of a slight.

Marquette gets a tough draw. USU is a damn good 11 seed.

 

If I were John Calipari, I'd be secretly delighted that the committee made them a 2. They're obviously pissed about it, but they've got an easy draw to the regional finals, where they'll play the same team they would have if they were a #1, except this time, his players have a chip on their shoulders.

I take back what I said about UConn beating Memphis 7 of 10. I kind of like Memphis in that game, given that additional motivation.

 

I'm going to the Final Four. Can't wait!

 

OK State vs. Tennessee, pretty good first round game. And the winner is no picnic for Pitt.

 

A friend won a lottery to buy tickets, and asked if I wanted to go. I was like "hell yeah!!"

 

Villanova gets a home game for the first two rounds. I'd complain more, but when Syracuse won the title in 2003, they basically had a home game in the 3rd and 4th rounds, which were played in Albany.

 

Tony Douglas might be able to put that FSU team on his back and take them past Pitt.

Syracuse is in the south, by process of elimination.

Wonder if Michigan is out? Wisconsin barely snuck in, so I wonder if the committee doesn't think too much of the Big 10. PSU is in deep kim chee.
