You know what's the most discouraging quote from Michael Beasley's short career thus far?

"KG definitely got into my head"

For those curious, this is when I said at 100% Michael Beasley = DO NOT WANT.

I am thinking that the Celtics wit their severely declining roster is going to get their *** beaten badly by Our team and that we will win 60 games..and this game will be a long forgotten memory.

The reservoir is building. it is not going to be pretty for the east.

it will be Cleveland and Miami for a long time.

    Yes.

Joe Johnson is a better fit for Chicago than Wade. I was NEVER a fan of Rose/Wade backcourt... just confident that Riley would be able to make it work by adding the necessary shooters around them. I cannot imagine Wade walking into that situation, though. Their perimeter would be Rose/Wade/Deng... zone defense and its a wrap.

I've often questioned those upset about not getting Rose or passing up on Westbrook for this exact reason.

It's Mayo and Lopez we missed out on.

Bosh goes to Chicago..and lookout..they are then just 3 pt. shooters away.

I think that is their plan.

They don;t even have a coach..remember...and their GM might get canned. Great situation to grab a FA...I know.

I think the problem with these three players is that they're inexperience got in the way of preparing themselves for the NBA. They thought they would get into the NBA and it would all click. But one thing's for sure, they just don't get it. Even Wade himself came out said that Bease needs to learn how to be a student of the game and not expect the game to just come to him.

I hope these guys catch on somewhere else, but please, let's ship them off before they sabotage our title hopes next year.

I've been calling Chicago for the flop (one of these teams loaded with cap space will lose out major) for a while now, and this Paxson/Vinny incident only helps that. I don't think they make a big splash.

Miami, New York, and Cleveland (LBJ re-signing) win.

Funny that Bosh as you mentioned... is really the only top free agent I could see signing with Chicago.

I wouldn't mind keeping Chalmers as backup 2-guard. He's just not a PG and that's his major flaw; played out of position far too long. Remember, Wade handled the ball much more last year than this year. I like Arroyo, too, (forgot to mention) as a backup PG as long as the player we bring in to start can shoot.

Beasley has got to go for the simple fact that his value is very close to being shot.

Cook is just worthless, and that's sad to see because I had high hopes for him.

Raja Bell apparently told Jason Jackson during the season that he will do everything in his power to convince Pat Riley to sign him this summer.

Bell grew up in Miami, went to Killian and FIU.

There's your James Posey (but better defender and even more versatile) for Contention v2.

I absolutely love the idea of Wade at PG and Shuttlesworth at the 2 for some stretches, though.

Bell would probably come at the minimum.

    He is 21.

That same mentally soft moron had a 23 and 15 game versus Josh Smith in game 6 last year.

the potential is there. It is as simple as this. Wade is a great P&R player..and Beasley never learned how to be a P&R player. Our best player doesn't mesh with him. Beasley is in the wrong system, and he is having a hard time adapting his game.

Riley once traded trash for Tim Hardaway.

Then traded Chris Gatling and assorted crap for Jamal Mashburn.

uh oh...lookie lookie...the media is circling like a vulcher. Trying to cause dissent and discord.

    How quaint.

Ira Winderman is the most guilty.

    Want to hear something SHOCKING?

Big Baby kicked our ***. We know. Check the shot chart. He had his shot blocked 4 times while Beasley guarded him and 1 time during Haslem's stint.

Big baby scored 4 points...DIRECTLY with Beasley guarding him. Two field goals. The rest against Haslem.

    The moral of the story?

We have one guy playing well defensively all around...Quentin Richardson..and that's it.

Have the cap space for it now, and Colangelo has already admitted defeat by stating that whether Bosh wants to stay or go elsewhere, he'll help him get the max by sign-and-trade. Colangelo is one of the few GM's out there that happens to love Beasley.

    G - Steve Blake?
    G - Wade
    F - Q/Dorell
    F - Bosh
    C - Amare

    Who needs a bench?

Honestly would rather Amare or Bosh + Joe Johnson, though.

I'd honestly consider moving Beasley for Oden IF Pat Riley and the medical staff are confident that they can keep him healthy for the most part.

Wade/Bosh or Amare/Oden = beautiful core, and Oden is only 22 so if he can stay healthy he'd be a 10 year building block going forward.

In 5 years when Wade and Amare are 33 years old, he'll only be 27 in his prime.

WHICH OF THOSE TEAMS CAN OFFER BETTER TALENT THAN BEASLEY?

*crickets* (insert stupid Knicks fan, "Eddy Curry?")

(Rose and Noah of course are safe)

You take whichever you can get first, then still attempt to sign the other if possible.

Honestly, when it comes to LeBron, Amare, and Bosh... there is no picking. If any of those guys commit, you commit right back, instantly.

    sigh.

Wade quotes from the last few days:

"It is not likely I will leave."

"i will sit down with Miami, they are in the drivers seat."

    'Miami is my first choice."

    "My heart is in Miami"

    Heat fan: "OMG..HE IS LEAVING!!!!!!!!!!!"

The friggin guy said point blank that he would not play with Durant and Westbrook because they are "too young to win". but he will play with Noah and Rose. Give me a break.

I like the sound of this. Think we can recreate the Jordan Bulls and just decimate the league through 2015?

If LeFraud commits to us, I jump off a bridge. (Hey, maybe I can be in Burn Notice!)

BTW, I have reached the point where I feel like there's maybe a 5% chance Wade leaves.

You all should feel the same.

Recent comments that Section mentions assure that. Throughout this process he has NEVER said anything close to what he said about a week ago... and now that it's out there... I would be shocked if he leaves.

I loved Sportscenter after the Game 2 debacle with Scott Van Pelt and Tim Legler immediately opinining that we were seeing the last of Wade in a Heat uniform and that he could not put up with having no help.

    Got a good laugh.

    Those guys are clueless.

the only analysts that have any clue are Scoop Jackson and Chris Broussard..because you can tell that they have actually watched this team.

BOTH BTW, say that Wade is a lock to stay. BOTH say that Amare is the choice...not Bosh.
