I wanted Pitt to win but that was not a penalty on Detroit at the end and they should have received a penalty with about 30 seconds left

Where was Malkin before 2nite. He played a great game

Congrats to all Red Wings fans.

It was beautiful to see Cindy Crosby and his porno stache skate off with nothing.

Just sayin'. If my team is a minute away from a Cup win, I'm as quiet as a mouse, sitting tight as a drum, and entirely focused on the puck. And then once the final siren sounds, I go bongo if my team wins. I believe too much in karma, to have my hands raised in the air, jumping around. To each his own though. Just that every time I see overconfident fans start a celebration, or think the game/series is theirs, before it really is over, I find myself rooting for the opposing team.

It figures that a Jet fan would be an *** about it.

If you watched the series and had any sense of hockey whatsoever, you'd have seen that Crosby played a great series on both offense and defense.

Calling him Cindy just shows the same mentality that Jet fans have when they used to make fun of Marino.

Have some class, bro. And while you're at it look up what a "porno stache" is. Sid's isn't even close.

    woooo hooooo

Zetterberg's insurance squeaker goal ends up being the stanley cup winner... wow that last minute and change was crazy... people didn't even realized it ended at first, i remember Cleary looking around confused as Osgood started jumping around celebrating, haha...

wow finally... its been so frustrating for the wings the last handful of seasons dominating regular seasons and hitting early exits in the playoffs (though last year we hit the conference finals and completely gave it away, blah, too happy to care about that now)... but finally put it all together

great series by the Penguins for a young team they NEVER gave up which is a great thing... hopefully they can keep most of those young guys and maybe we'll have a rematch next season :D

He sure did. I hate to admit it, but he did play well. I'm glad this series didn't go 7, because with the way Malkin was starting to come on, I think I would have given the edge to the Pens going into game 7. Especially with how shaky Osgood appeared at times in the last 2 games. I think what happened in this series, was simply that experience took over. The pens were definitely capable of winning the cup in this series.

Zetterberg was a monster in this series. I don't think he left the ice at all in the 3rd last night! Totally impressed by the man.

It's definitely going to be tough to swallow all offseason that the winning goal was scored by Fleury's ***.

I've been saying that about Zetterberg since he first came to the league. I always figured he'd be great offensively, but i will admit i NEVER thought he would turn out to be the great defensive player he's become. He is definately well deserving of the Conn Smythe thats for sure. Datsyuk too... totally blew me away this series, he was throwing hits, he played really strong on the puck, and was good defensively too. Its nice seeing these guys overcome the typical stereotype on European players not being tough enough to cut it in the Cup playoffs, these two, and the entire Detroit roster proved that stereotype to be false Id say. I think its almost impossible to make a top 10, maybe even top 5 list of players in the league and not include Zetterberg and Datsyuk. The can do it all... Offense, defense... They are the perfect all around players.
