Browns outlast Steelers for 9th win on the Season

Pittsburgh, PA - Young QB Jack English continues to make the CLE front office look smart, named Player of the Game for the 2nd time this season, and finishing with 124.4 passer rating, the Englishman finished 19 of 27 for 256yds 4TDs 1INT.

Spreading the ball around to 9 different receivers, allowing each to show moves in the open field and increase their YAC numbers, the young kennel continues to impress. Not to be outdone, the CLE rushing attack was mixed in as 3 rushers helped tally 18 rushes for 101yds and 2TDs.

The CLE Defense kept it simple, working as a unit to keep the ball and ball carriers in front of them all game and gang tackling to avoid the break-away. The young aggressive D continued to attack the ball once in the air, and did come away with 3 INTs off Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger.

The early CLE lead aided in the cause as the Browns offense was able to keep pace and counter punch with the scoring plays of Pitt.

    Scoring Summary:

    (CLE) M.Massaqoui 40 Yd pass from J.English(P.Dawson kick), 3:20: 7 to 0

    PVP week 11

    Things are heating up!

    Jaguars (9-0)
    Starry31
    Colts (3-6)
    b00g1E_p0p

The Jaguars look to keep their undefeated streak against the Colts. The Colts are out of the playoffs and are playing for pride.

    Saints (6-3)
    MrBigKatt
    Cardinals (6-3)
    amenart

Big game in the NFC Wild Card hunt. Cardinals need this game to keep in the lead of their division and the Saints need this win to keep in the wild card. Huge game.

    Vikings (2-7)
    BarryP
    Bears (5-4)
    Graythreat

A usual easy victory is no more now that BPK actually has a quarterback who can complete passes. Bears need this victory really bad if they want to make the playoffs.

    Cowboys (5-4)
    finomenal
    Titans (8-1)
    SoldierOfLight90

Tough game for the Cowboys as they are going against one of the best teams in the AFC in the Titans. Cowboys really need this victory and the Titans could use it. They do have a hard schedule though.

    Lions (8-1)
    HurriPhins44
    Packers (6-3)
    Keyz-E

Two offensive powerhouses going at it. The Lions would like to keep their lead and a win here should net them a 15-1 record. Packers need this victory to stay in the playoff hunt. The wildcard is wild in the NFC!

    Falcons (6-3)
    rvmartinez64
    Seahawks (5-4)
    samsparents

Two teams that really need a victory. The Seahawks need this game to stay in their division or make the playoffs. The Falcons need this game as well. The excitement of this week is CRAZY!!

    Chiefs (7-2)
    parkers212
    Broncos (3-6)
    DisPak

Can the Broncos spoil the Chiefs? Chiefs have the lead in their division and would like to keep it that way.

Cleveland nearly gets ROCKED - but finds enough to secure 10th Win

Cleveland, OH - It's as if they played two games on the same day. Whatever it was, it wasn't pretty, and aside from the outcome, it wasn't the way this Cleveland Football team wants to play. Lethargic, uninterested, tired....all those words apply, but victorious once again also does. Fortunate is the best word to describe the 31-20 victory Cleveland Browns escaped with over the Buffalo Bills.

Cleveland rookie QB, Jack English took a 1st Quarter hit that left him on a the sideline for two offensive plays and the rest of the unit thinking what just happened. But for the second game in a row and third overall the Englishman returned and stepped up big time, as he was named Player of the Game completing 26 of 35 for 406yds 1TD 2INT. Spreading the ball around, although dealing with several key drops, the entire offense didn't seem to have the same rhythm or pace it usually does. The rushing attack continued its assault securing 100yrds and 3 TDs, but this game saw Cleveland trail several times, including late into the 4th QTR. A boneheaded coaches call and miscommunication down on the field cost Cleveland points as time expired to end the first half with the ball on the BUF 1 yard line.
The Defense while contributing to the out of sync vibe, did manage to come away with 2 more INTs improving the give-away (14) to Takeaway (27) to plus 13 for the year.

No highlights as this film will be burned since you cant learn from it - this one is on the coaches!

Some pretty exciting games this week with a lot on the line, should be like that until the end of the season. Really my game is probably the most boring and there's still 1st place in AFC/AFC South and undefeated streak on the line. Cowboys get it done this week ok? :hi5:

Iam hoping to appease both of your requests, although a simmed game with the Rams might be the tell tale of IF I get in or not....I didnt wanna hold u guys up for 2 days over a game I assumed Dallas could win anyway.

That being said I only have 1 comp game left so the playoffs would mean a beasty *** run, that frankly I dont think Im good enough (YET) to make.

But I sure will try to mow them down one at a time.

Well...e ach person, like in real life, will get to votw based on their own criteria.

The idea, however, is whoever you think deserves to go to the Pro Bowl.

Could be to rep their team. Could be based on a HOT season. Could be a fan favorite who's been popular for years. Could be you vote for someone cuz you like the sound of their name.

It'd all be up to you.

385 yards and 5 TDs definitely padded it a little. He gets the same amount of yards against the Rams as he did Dallas week before and he's 8th in the league with a lot of teams still needing to play their game. So definitely a good season but it did skew it a little.

Think Soldier said today would be pretty busy for him but that he'd try to get in contact soon.

Other players ahead of him have played the cpu. Also, his yard per catch was still great. He's made big plays all year.

Just beat the Bengals 84-6. Honestly I didn't play that good of a game. The killing came with the fact the Ravens had 7 interceptions. Fabien Washington had 5 of the interceptions and 3 of them went for touchdowns. Should have been 4, however I accidentally ran out of bounds on one of them.

Carson Palmer was hurt for half of the game and the punter came in to throw 4 of the interceptions.
