I was joking, but it was entertaining if you threw everything else out the window and took it on face value. IMO, the most interesting character was Ed Nygma and his Dexter meets Walter White~ish evolution. Other than that, you tire of most of the overly cliche characters pretty quickly and wonder when Jim Gordon became John McClane. Spoiler - Lot of original characters from Batman between the 40s and 70s. - Jim Gordon... 'murican badazz mimicking Die Hard McClane in overcoming beatings and escaping death. - Alfred Pennyworth... 'Anglo badazz... pugilist. Street fighter. Lol... - Fish Mooney... most annoying badazz. - While Joker was never in this pre-Batman series, they went out of their way to skirt him with "Jerome" acting like him and "Jeri" donning the makeup. - Deadpool's girlfriend was in this before her plastic surgeries to fix her nose n chin and to give her boobs. - PeeWee Herman as Penguins' Father was amusing. - Series was mindless tv fodder.
