'Before the Devil knows you're Dead'

Not a bad flick. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is number #2 behind Daniel Day Lewis on my fav actors list. He practically carries this movie.

Loved it. Sorkin is a great writer. Hanks and Seymore Hoffman are just amazing. I'm with HardKoreXXX on Hoffman. He is one of, if not the best actor out there.

Plus Amy Adams and the rest of Wilson's staff were hot. I especially liked his press secretary. They called her jailbait.

I didnt know Sorkin wrote it until the credits started to role, and once I saw his name it was so obvious. The guy can write witty dialogue as well as anyone.

And you cant say enough about the job the cast does.

Just got finished watching The Orphanage. Overall I thought it was a solid movie and would recommend it. I'd give it a 7.5/10.

The Incredible Hulk - 4/5 - Much better paced storyline this time out, but the major effects pieces have all been spoiled by the trailers and propaganda for the movie. Also, it looked like Liv Tyler had a duck beak.

Knocked Up 4.5/5 - Finally got around to watching this film, and it was worth the wait. Really enjoyable film with some genuinely touching moments. Probably my second favorite movie about unwanted pregnancy (behind Juno)

Night At The Museum - 3/5 - This one is a definite kids movie. It was funny in spots, but overall everyone seemed to be going through the motions. It's a Stiller movie - which means it's Ben Stiller acting like himself throughout.

I thought those two movies caught a lot of unnecessary flack. I really enjoyed them. I liked Rodriguez's better than Tarantino's. I thought T's was way too much annoying chick dialogue.

    Teeth- I liked it

Its about a girl who has teeth down there

Plot Summary: High school student Dawn works hard at suppressing her budding sexuality by being the local chastity group's most active participant. Her task is made even more difficult by her bad boy stepbrother Brad's increasingly provocative behavior at home. A stranger to her own body, innocent Dawn discovers she has a toothed vagina when she becomes the object of violence. As she struggles to comprehend her anatomical uniqueness, Dawn experiences both the pitfalls and the power of being a living example of the vagina dentata myth.

Just finished watching the entire Rambo franchise over the course of the last 2 days. Interesting films, I had never any of them from start to finish. Here's my thoughts.

First Blood - 5/5 - Exactly what an action film should be. Great movie, great story, really enjoyed it. I can't think of anything to really complain about with this movie.
Rambo: First Blood 2 - 4/5 - Different in tone from the first one. Rambo is clearly the hero in this one.
Rambo III - 3.5/5 - Best part of the movie was the end - "Dedicated to the people of Afghanistan. Ah, how times change. I thought Stallone's teased hair was a bit much. I did like certain parts that harkened back to the first film. At times though, it borders on self-parody.
Rambo - 4/5 - Takes the series back in a more realistic direction. Biggest complaint was that it was just too darn short. Stallone actually looks the part of Rambo better than the part of Rocky, given his age.

Overall, great series of films, glad I bought the sweet box set.

Blade Runner. Very interesting. The slow pace made it a bit difficult to keep up with because I was already tired when I began watching it. I watched Scott's first director's cut, the one without Ford's narration. I can see why the studio had him do it with the original cut. But I liked not having the narration. Pretty good film. Might get better the more I think about it.

The Devil's Backbone by Guillermo Del Toro. Companion piece and sorta-prequel to Pan's Labyrinth. Very good -- of course, I'm becoming a real Del Toro fan.

One other creepy bit of trivia --
I had a Devil's Backbone as an infant!

Funny you mention that Doc, as I watched Pan's Labyrinth for the first time the other night. I thought it was good, though it was not what I expected. Really good.

I'm a fan of Del Toro, but because of Blade 2 and Hellboy.
