I went and seen the Happening last weekend with some friends... it was okay...

However this weekend I watched Clerks.... okay I've seen that movie a million times, but it's funny as **** every single time!

Narnia - Prince Caspian. Better than I expected. Better than the first one. I liked the first one because I read the book as a kid.

Superbad - 2nd time, just as funny and filthy as the first time. Good low brow humor.

Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. For some reason I was just never interested in seeing the movie. It was pretty good. I'm not sure it was good enough to make me want to watch the sequels though.

Next three in my Netflix queue arriving today: "Mama's Boy" with Jon Heder, "Time Code" (four ... way ... split!) and "Repulsion" (Catherinbe Deneuve circa 1965 ... grr, baby).

Well, those three didn't show up, so I went the RedBox route:

The Air I Breathe: A solid ensemble cast including Kevin Bacon, Brendan Fraser, Forest Whitaker and Sarah Michelle Gellar propel this Pulp Fiction-esque nonlinear storyline. Well-filmed and reasonably well-acted (Fraser, in particular, impresses), it was nonetheless dreary and overwrought.

The Cleaner: Samuel L. Jackson and Eva Mendes somehow manage to be boring in this thriller that starts with an intriguing premise, but rapidly becomes painfully predictable at every turn.

I think 3:10 Yuma is the best looking movie I have seen on BR so far, but I've only seen like 10 total (I have more hd-dvds than anything). Actually, Appleseed Ex Machina looks sweet as hell too, that has to be right up there with 3:10 to Yuma.

I had read countless reviews on AICN, that said it was dreadful, but I had to see for myself.

You should check it out if you are a fan, but I wouldn't pay for it. It is sure to end up being a cheap buy for a cable movie station to play it over and over.

Saw this last night, thought it was really good, worth a viewing in the theatre for sure. Some great action scenes in this movie. I was kind of surprised how fun it was as well, it seemed awfully dark in the previews, some genuinely funny moments. Main character looked like Russel Crowe's love child.

    'The Lives of Others'

A German film about the 'Stasi' or Secret Police in East Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall. If you can stand to sit thru subtitles (or know German) I def reccommend this one.

Wall*E - Saw it in the theater yesterday. It may just be the best movie I've seen this year. Pretty much perfect. 5/5. My only complaint was the couple behind me who MST 3K'd during the whole movie.

Be Kind Rewind - Cute premise for a movie, but the movie parodies get a little old and the last part of the movie slows down pretty significantly. 3.5/5. Could have sped up the pace a little bit on it.
