This year, what will Michigan bring to Columbus to prevent the dreaded 5 in a row? Do they have anything to bring at all? They are losing their entire foundation on offense in the draft. Long, Hart, Henne, Manningham, Arrington, all goners. OSU responded well this year after having the same happen to them following the 2006 season. I seriously doubt Michigan has any shot whatsoever of competing this year. Personally, I'm looking forward to stomping on them while they're down at least one more time. Gotta make it at least 5 in a row. That is huge in a rivalry like this one. Imagine if this streak gets to 6 or 7, they could be looking for another coach soon again. Ha!

Congrats on the NIT fellas
I was hoping for a rematch too, but it looks like your team has rebounded better that UF after both teams lost so many guys.

How many starters/key reserves did you lose again? No, I'm not trying to set anyone up for a comparison (UF lost all five starters and their top reserve), because it doesn't really matter. I just know it was significant, and the parallel seemed obvious to me at the time.

    Anyhow, congrats.

Lost Oden, Connelly, Cook (all 1st rounders) plus Ron Lewis who hit some key buckets in the tourney last year and Ivan Harris who was a bench guy

Thanks, Cook is who I was forgetting. That was your team.
I actually think the NIT experience will be good for OSU and UF. Both teams were likely to get bounced pretty early from the NCAA's. The NIT offered two very young programs deep tournament experience. It's not the same pressure as the NCAA's, but it's better than being out in the first week IMO.

Exactly right, as a fan its easy to just ignore the NIT's because of it's lack of significant meaning. But you said it right it's all about gettin the fella's some more experience for next season.

Well losing Butler is going to suck. I was thinking we go big next year if we don't have Crater or Buford starting at point.

Maybe Turner at point, Lighty at SG, KK at SF, Lauderdale at PF, Mullens at C

I think we could really use Koufos to hid full potential.

I know but I don't think KK can guard the quicker SF's and he is too soft down low. One thing I noticed is he never put a body on the penetrating guard. He is pretty good if the guy trys to back him down but he has alot to improve defensively.

There is no doubt. The true test comes against USC. Depending how well we take care of them will determine the tempo for the season. I think we'll be fine, we have a nice solid team this year that is well balanced.

Yup Clifford and Washington are second time offenders and might be suspended the whole season. Now I don't buy the whole season but action does need to be taken place. Mo Wells also is rumored to be on that list.

I will say if Clifford and Washington are gone for the year the secondary will be a mess.

IVe been meaning to make a post and I watched the whole thing and we are stacked!

Boeckman got MVP but didn't deserve it. He got out played by Joe Bauserman! Bauserman looks great, big arm nice foot work.

The Dline played great put preassure on the QB all day Heyward and Wilson dominated. Abdullah and Worthington played great, Gibson is going to be a force. Safe to say are Dline is not a weak point.

Sabino is a MONSTER, True freshman should be starting OLB this year and taking over the middle. Guy has nice burst. JL played the pass during the spring game Freeman played great.

The Secondary is probably are best position we are solid with depth and starters.

Oline got abused by the Dline. Saine and Mo Wells didn't look that great Boom Herron is a beast looks like another stud at RB.

We are great at WR Small and Washington really shined. Washington is a burner. Boeckman found nice rythm with Hartline connecting 8 times! Though Boeckman threw 2 int's

Bauserman looked like the better QB.

Also Ohio St is picking up Dorien Bell.

My god Ohio St is wasting no time snagging top recruits for next year.

Sabino what looking like he was Irish but things fell apart late. You got a solid LB IMO
